SKOL Service Event Day Parking and Shuttle Program

I.

Purpose
During all major events (NFL and Authority), all event day team members part of SKOL
Service can park for free in a designated parking ramp and take the stadium shuttle to
and from the parking ramp. The SKOL Service Event Day Shuttle will be operational to
transport all event day staff part of the SKOL Service team from the parking ramp to and
from the stadium. This Policy ensures the safe operation of all staff riding on the shuttle
and to understand the hours of operation.

II.

Parking Lot Location and Hours


On event day, all staff will have the opportunity to park for free in the Leamington or
Plaza ramp. The designated ramp will depend on the day of the week.
Leamington Ramp Location: 1001 2nd Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55403
Vehicle Entry: 10th Street, 11th Street
Plaza Ramp Location: 117 12th Street S, Minneapolis, MN 55403
Vehicle Entry: 2nd Avenue, 12th Street

During all major events taking place on the week day (Monday-Friday), staff will park in
the Plaza ramp and take the shuttle to and from the stadium. During all events taking
place on the weekend (Saturday and Sunday), staff will park in the Leamington Ramp
and take the shuttle to and from the stadium.

The parking ramps are opened 24 hours a day. The shuttle will pick up and drop off staff
inside of each parking ramp where there is a bus lane. At this location there will be a
U.S. Bank Stadium sign designating the bus location along with two stadium event staff
checking for U.S. Bank Stadium IDs.

III.

Shuttle Bus Hours of Operation


On Event Days, the shuttle bus will begin operations six hours prior to the event and will
have three buses in rotation. The shuttle buses will run continuous routes transporting
staff to the stadium.
The shuttle buses will stop picking up staff at the garages one hour prior to the start of
the event and will move to the SKOL Service Shuttle Bus location on 11th Avenue. When
one bus fills up, they will take staff from the stadium back to the parking ramp.
The buses will run after the event concludes for two hours in a continuous rotation.

IV.

Stadium Pick Up and Drop Off Location


The Stadium Drop off and Pick Up location will be in the same location during all major
events. The Pick Up and Drop Off location will be on 11th Avenue S, located between 6th
Street S and 7th Street S on the West side of the curb.
At this location, there will be two event staff and a sign designating the location.

Parking Ramp Validation Procedures

In order for staff to receive the complimentary parking, staff must bring their parking
ticket to the tables located at the entrance of the SKOL Service Team member entrance
to have their ticket validated. The validation station will be set up on the staffs route to
exit the stadium.
Staff who forget to have their parking ticket validated at the stadium will not be able to
receive free parking once they are at the parking ramp. Validation will only occur at the
stadium prior to staff leaving.

VI.

Polices
Below are the following rules and regulations that must be followed when using the
SKOL Service Team member parking ramp and shuttle:
1. Cars must enter and exit the parking ramp during operational hours only.
2. No cars may stay overnight in the ramp.
3. Staff will pull a parking ticket for the ramp they are parking in. Before staff leave the
stadium, they must have their ticket validated by security. Staff cannot validate their
ticket at the parking ramp.
4. Staff who forget to have their parking ticket validated at the stadium, will have to pay
the parking ramp fee.
5. Staff park at their own risk inside the ramp.
6. In order to ride the shuttle, all staff must have a U.S. Bank Stadium ID. IDs will be
checked by Monterrey Security before riding the shuttle.
7. Staff who take the shuttle must respect and abide by all rules and regulations of the
shuttle company.
8. The shuttle will only be operational during specific pre-determined hours. If staff miss
the shuttle, they have to find their own means of transportation to get back to the parking
ramp.

Frequently Asked Questions


1. What time does the Leamington or Plaza Parking Ramps open?
A: The Leamington and Plaza Parking Ramps are opened 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
2. Does it cost to park in these ramps during a major event day and I am working at the
stadium?
A: No! You are part of our SKOL Service team. Parking is free for our team members.

3. I forgot my stadium ID, am I allowed to ride the shuttle to the stadium?


A: No, you must have your U.S. Bank Stadium ID in order to park in the parking ramp.
4. Who is allowed to ride the shuttle?
A: All team members part of the U.S. Bank Stadium SKOL Service program.
5. I forgot to get my parking ticket validated before I left the stadium. What do I do?
A: You must have your parking ticket validated in order receive free parking. The only way to
have your parking ticket validated is at the stadium. You must go back to the stadium to get
your ticket validated otherwise you will pay the full parking lot fee for that day and you will
not be reimbursed.
6. I crumbled my parking ticket, but I did get it validated. It is not reading at the ticket
scanner at the parking ramp exit, what do I do?
A: That is okay! As long as your parking ticket is validated, there will be parking attendants
located at the garage to assist you, so you are able to take advantage of the parking.
7. My work shift starts 8 hours prior to the event started, can I park in the parking lot ramp?
A: Yes, you can park in the ramp and take advantage of the free parking, however, the staff
shuttle does not start until 6 hours prior to the start of an event.
8. I rode the shuttle and I have a stadium ID and my family came to the event and I am
driving them home. Can they ride the shuttle with me?
A: Unfortunately, no. Only U.S. Bank Stadium team members may ride the shuttle with the
proper stadium ID. Families and friends will need to find a different mode of transportation
and meet you at the parking ramp.
9. I lost my parking ticket, what do I do?
A: If you lost your parking ticket, unfortunately you are out of luck. You will need to pay the
full parking lot ramp fee for that day. Remember to place your parking ticket in a safe place!
10. Is the parking ramp available to park in during non-major event days?
A: Yes, the parking ramp is available to park in every day, however, U.S. Bank Stadium will
only pay for team members parking during major events.
