Development Goals Project

Mission: Develop a creative way to address one of the UNs Millenium
Development Goals.

Final work will be presented in class on Wed. 8/10 and Thurs. 8/11. Here
are the project guidelines we developed together in class

Baseline Requirements
1. Concrete & achievable
2. Data-based (e.g. with surveys, infographics, etc.)
3. Clear explanation of problem and solution
4. Credible & multiple sources

Presentation Format
Classroom Lesson!
o Hook (to get students engaged from the very start!)
o Dynamic presentation (with video, images, etc.)
! If PPT or Prezi, must have visuals with no more than 6
words per slide!!
o Student-centered activity
o Kahoot Game
