Seiji Masuda Endowed Scholarship in Public Policy for International Students

Requirements: This scholarship is renewed the second year automatically, if they maintain a
cumulative 3.0 GPA which is required to stay in the program.
Description: Established in 2004, the Seiji Masuda Endowed Scholarship in Public Policy for
International Students was created to provide scholarships for international students from
Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Brunei on the basis of
merit and need. The student only needs to mark yes to the question, Do you want to be
considered for a scholarship? If they are admitted then they will be reviewed for scholarship.

Description: This grant is for graduate students and postdoctoral researchers who are Indonesian
citizens and wish to pursue their research activities in Indonesia. Grants are given for research in
any field of contemporary and traditional Indonesian Studies, with preference given to
applications focusing on science and technology, broadly understood; womens empowerment;
food security; and Islamic Studies and/or Indonesia-United States Relations.

graduates with a strong record of performance in their S1 or S2 degree program. A minimum iBT
TOEFL score of 55 (test date no earlier than June 1, 2011).
Description: Arryman Fellows spend one year conducting research, studying English
intensively, and taking graduate classes for credit in preparation for doctoral studies. They are
then eligible to receive six-year awards from ISRSF as Arryman Scholars to pursue their PhD in
the United States at Northwestern University in Chicago.

AU EMERGING GLOBAL LEADER SCHOLARSHIP FOR INTERNATIONAL
STUDENTS (AU EGLS)

Requirements: To be considered for the scholarship, candidates must be secondary school
students (not university students) applying as first-year (freshman) students for the fall (August)
2013 semester. Preference will be given to international students who have overcome various
obstacles and challenges as well as those from diverse and under-represented global and
socioeconomic backgrounds.
Description: The scholarship provides full tuition, fees, room and board for one first-year
(freshman) high-achieving international student who will need a visa to study in the United
States (preference will be for those who need an F-1 or J-1 student visa). It is renewable for a
total of four years of undergraduate study, based on continued satisfactory academic
performance. U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents or dual citizens of the U.S. and another
country, are not eligible to apply.

IIE STUDY AMERICA: THE UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM

NEF Research Grant Programme for Asia-Pacific Region
Nagao Natural Environment Foundation is awarding NEF research grant programme for
applicants of developing country in the Asia-Pacific region. The maximum grant size in this
programme is 500,000 Japanese yen per project for a maximum duration of two year. Research
Grant are grants are available for researcher/scientist, who works full-time or is enrolled in a
doctoral course, conducting research at a research institution or relevant organization in his/her
home country. The application deadline is 19 October, 2015.
StuNed Scholarship Programme for Indonesian Students
Applications are invited for StuNed Scholarship Programme from Indonesian students to pursue
master, short courses or tailor made training programmes at Dutch higher education. Scholarship
focuses on the areas that are of interest to Indonesia as well as the Netherlands. Every year
between 200 to 250 full scholarships are offered to those who operate in the development of
Indonesia. The applications deadline for short course program is October 1, 2015 (for programs
starting between January 1 s / d June 30).
Asian Women In Business Scholarship (AWIB) Fund in USA
Applications are invited for Asian Women in Business (AWIB) scholarship for Asian female
students who have demonstrated scholarship, leadership, community service and/or
entrepreneurship. Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an accredited four-year undergraduate
institution in the US at the time of application and award. Each scholarship will be
$2,500. Applicant can be considered for an additional $2,500 (a total of $5,000) if qualified as
lower middle income. Application should be submitted till October 1, 2015.
ICO Three-Month Fellowships for Indonesian Students
The International Council of Ophthalmology is offering approximately 60 fellowships in
ophthalmology. The fellowships will include S$6000 (maximum) to cover travel and living
expenses. Applicant must be reasonably fluent in the language of the fellowship training center.
The application deadline is March 31 and September 30 each year.
ICO-Retina Research Foundation Helmerich Fellowships for Indonesian Students
The International Council of Ophthalmology (ICO) is offering two fellowships. Fellowships are
open for training in any ophthalmology subspecialty. Applicant must be accepted for
ophthalmology subspecialty fellowship, one year in duration, at an advanced ophthalmology
training center. Fellowships are awarded for one year. The application deadline is September 30
of each year.

Mexican Government Scholarship Program


Applications are invited for Mexican Government scholarship program available for foreign
students. Scholarships for academic studies are offered for those who preferred to take complete

TWAS-COMSTECH Joint Research Grants in OIC Countries
Applications are invited for TWAS-COMSTECH Joint Research Grants available for young
individual scientists to undertake research project in OIC Countries. The programme provides
support for research projects in the following fields of science and technology: earth sciences,
engineering sciences, information technology and computer sciences, materials science including
nanotechnology, pharmaceutical sciences and renewable energy. A grant is normally provided for
a period of 18 months and is renewable once. A Research Grant amounts to a maximum of USD

Wellcome Trust is offering research fellowships in Public Health and Tropical Medicine.
Applicants must have a relevant high-quality publication record and show potential to become a
future scientific leader. The fellowships are awarded for up to five years. Applications are

Newcastle University ASEAN Scholarship Vietnam and Indonesia


Newcastle University announces 8 scholarship awards for students from Vietnam and Indonesia

commencing a Masters degree in September 2015. These awards are available to high
achieving students applying for entry onto postgraduate Masters degree programmes,
commencing in September 2015. Each scholarship will have a value of 4,000, payable towards
the first year of tuition fees. The application deadline is 30th June 2015.
Scholarships for Indonesian Students at Stenden University Bali
Stenden University Bali is offering scholarships for Indonesian Students to study International
Hospitality Management (IHM) or International Business Administration (IBA). Eligible
students must be in year 12 or graduated from high school no later than 2012. The application
deadline is 19th June, 2015.
Indonesian Scholarship Program
Stratford University is offering Indonesian scholarships to study culinary arts and hospitality
management. Multiple 50% tuition scholarships will be awarded (valued in total at over $90,000)
for pursuing Associates and/or Bachelors Degree or Master degree. Scholarship award will be
divided evenly across each term based on expected terms required to complete the program for
which the reward was received. Scholarship winners must enroll for program start dates Quarter

University of Strathclyde offers full-time scholarship for Indonesian Students. The scholarship is
awarded on the basis of financial need. The amount of scholarship is 10,000. Awards will
automatically be deducted from tuition fees. Candidates must demonstrate through their ideas,
experience and achievements that they are an excellent team player. Applications will close on
31 May 2015.
Business School Deans MBA Scholarships

Bournemouth University is offering Business School


Deans MBA scholarships. Up to 10 MBA scholarships (5 for India and 5 for Thailand, Nigeria
and Indonesia) are awarded. Students resident in India at the time of application who are
classified as overseas for fee purposes are eligible to apply for the 50% award. Students
resident in Thailand, Nigeria and Indonesia at the time of application who are classified as
overseas for fee purposes are eligible to apply for the 25% award. The application deadline
is 31 May 2015.

Business School Deans MBA Scholarships at Bournemouth University

Bournemouth University announces MBA scholarships for the academic year 2015-2016.
Students from ASEAN nations Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines,

The Sekolah Victory Plus (SVP) is offering scholarship to Indonesian students who reside in

Bekasi area. Scholarship is awarded Middle Years School students who will graduate in the
academic year 2014/2015 to study at SVP Senior High School (Grade 10 to 12). Applicant must
be at the age of 13 to 15 years old on 1st July 2015 and willing to study at SVP for a 3
consecutive years until High School graduation. The application deadline is May 23, 2015.

ASEAN Masters Scholarship at University of Nottingham in UK,

University of Nottingham offers ASEAN masters Scholarships. Scholarships are provided to
learn any of the courses (excluding MBA) offered by the University of Nottingham. The
students of Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines,
Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam for these scholarships. 10 scholarships are offered. Total offer

Goldman Sachs Gives-Riley MBA Scholarship for Indonesian Students
Imperial College Business School is awarding Goldman Sachs Gives -Riley MBA Scholarship
for Asian students. This full scholarship is available to undertake full time MBA program
commencing in September 2015. The award will be 40,000 with a stipend of 1,000 for living
expenses. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an outstanding track record of
academic and professional achievement. The application deadline is 17 May 2015.

Joseph Lister Scholarships For Indonesian Students at University of Glasgow in UK, 2015
University of Glasgow is offering 5 scholarships for September 2015 academic session.
Scholarship covers 10,000 each towards the tuition fee of a one year Masters programme.
Masters scholarships are open for the students from Indonesia within the College of Medical,

Veterinary and Life Sciences. Applicants will be selected on the basis of academic excellence
and personal achievement. The application deadline is 11th May 2015, rolling thereafter.
Crawford Fund Fellowship for Developing Countries Scientists
Crawford Fund invites nominations for training fellowship in agriculture, fisheries or forestry
from scientists from a selected group of developing countries. The successful recipient shall
spend up to three months at an Australian institution receiving further training in an aspect of
agricultural research or resource development. The closing date for nominations is 30 April,
2015.

ASEAN International Student Scholarship at Kasetsart University


Kasetsart University is offering ASEAN Scholarship for the citizens of ASEAN member
countries excluding Thailand. The scholarships are awarded to study M.S. English Program in
Agricultural and Resource Economics (ARE). Scholarships include tuition fee and monthly
research assistant stipend including research expenditure and health insurance. The closing date
for application is 30 April, 2015.
Development Scholarships for Indonesian Students
Scholarships for Indonesian students are available for pursuing Bachelors or
Masters degree level at Charles University. Five scholarships are available for school year
2015/16, and may not be deferred to later years. The deadline for scholarship applications is 30th
April 2015.
CV Starr Scholarship for Indonesian Students at LSE
Applications are invited for CV Starr Scholarship for nationals of Burma, Cambodia, China,
Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, the Philippines, Singapore,
Thailand and Vietnam. There is one award of approximately 5,000 available for a one year
taught masters programme in any subject. To be considered for this scholarship, students must
have completed the 2015/16 LSE Graduate Financial Support Application form and received an
offer of admission. The application deadline is 27 April 2015.

Orange Tulip Scholarship for Indonesian Students


Nuffic is offering Orange Tulip Scholarship (OTS) for Indonesian students. Scholarships are
available to study in the Netherlands at the Foundation level, Bachelors or Master. Applicants
must have a diploma last of the non Dutch educational institutions and meet the specific
requirements of Orange Tulip Scholarship program. Tulip Scholarship Neso Indonesia is 1 April
2015.
SEARCA Graduate (MS and PhD) Scholarship

Applications are invited for SEARCA graduate scholarship for advanced


studies leading to the Masters and PhD degrees in Agriculture and related sciences. Applicants
must be regular employees of academic or research institutions or government agencies and not
older than 35 years of age. Deadline for the Ministries to send endorsements to SEARCA is
every 30 July 2015.
NCKU-ICID PhD Scholarship for SATU Presidents Forum Members
Applications are invited for NCKU-ICID PhD scholarship available for outstanding international
students from SATU Presidents Forum members. This scholarship is awarded for undertaking
doctoral studies in Institute of Creative Industry Design (ICID) at National Cheng Kung
University (NCKU) for Fall Semester 2015. The amount of the scholarships will vary, with the
maximum monthly stipend of NTD$30, 000 (approximately US $1,000) lasting for one academic

Global Challenges Fellowship Program (GCFP) in Germany
The Volkswagen Foundation is supporting Global Challenges Fellowship to conduct research for
journal articles and/or policy papers and participate in a series of small working group
discussions and seminars. Beginning in September 2015, Global Challenges Fellows will spend

approximately 7-8 months doing analytical, policy, and empirical work at SPP/CEU IAS in
Budapest and at GPPi in Berlin where they will engage with policy practitioners. Researchers
from nine countries (Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Iran, Mexico, Nigeria, South Africa, and
Turkey) are eligible to apply. The application deadline is March 30, 2015.
SUT PhD Scholarship Program for ASEAN Students
Suranaree University of Technology is offering PhD scholarship for ASEAN students in the
fields of Sciences, Engineering, Agricultural Technology and Social Technology. Two types of
scholarships will be awarded i.e. PhD scholarship for Bachelor degree holder (for five academic
years) and PhD scholarship for Master degree holder (for three academic years). The application
deadline is March 30th, 2015.
Masters Fellowships in Public Health and Tropical Medicine, 2015
Wellcome Trust is offering masters fellowships for junior researchers to gain research experience
and high-quality research training at Masters degree level. A Fellowship normally provides up
to 30 months support. Fellows must be based in a low- or middle-income country for their
research project. The application deadline is 2 March 2015.
SEAMEO-Australia Education Links Award 2015
The Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) and the Government of
Australia are inviting applications for the SEAMEO-Australia Education Links Award
2015. These awards are available for the students from Indonesia. The winner will receive a
grant worth AUD$10,000, which is expected to support activities in relation to the winning
innovative idea or project. The closing date for application is 1st March 2015.

Curtin International Merit Scholarship in Australia, 2015


Curtin University is offering merit scholarship to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate degree
level. Through the Merit Scholarship, Curtin welcomes eligible students who are citizens of
Indonesia to apply for this scholarship. This scholarship provides students 25% of their first year
tuition fee, up to a maximum of AUD$10,000. The deadline for application is 13 February 2015.
USINDO Sumitro Fellowship Program for USA and Indonesia
United States-Indonesia Society (USINDO) invites applications for fellowship program available
for the citizens of USA and Indonesia. Fellowship is available for research relating to the
political economy of Indonesia (for a United States citizen/permanent resident) and for a project

related to the Indonesian-United States relationship (for an Indonesian citizen). The Sumitro
Fellows Program is a $10,000 travel/study grant for post-doctoral scholars, PhD candidates,
senior academics, and otherwise professionally qualified candidates to engage in field research.
The application deadline is January 31, 2015.

Brunsfield Oxford ASEAN Human Rights Scholarships at University


of Oxford in UK, 2015-16
BOAHR invites application for five fully funded scholarships (one per year) available for
candidates from Indonesia to study for the Masters in International Human Rights Law at
the University of Oxford. Scholarships are funded by the Brunsfield Foundation. The
Scholarships cover tuition and college fees in full plus accommodation during the
two compulsory summer residences and a generous maintenance grant of approximately
3200 per annum. Students should submit the application by 23 January 2015.
Georg Forster Research Fellowship for Developing Countries in Germany, 2015
The Humboldt Foundation grants up to 80 Georg Forster Research Fellowships for postdoctoral
researchers. The fellowship is provided to learn any of the courses offered by the research
institution in Germany. The award amount totals EUR 60,000. The application deadline is 15
January, 2015.
International Students House Residential Scholarships for Indonesian Students
Scholarships for Indonesian students are awarded for accommodation during the applicants
study period in London. Preference will be given to postgraduate students who are studying a
course that will provide skills to assist in the development of their home country. Students must
study at a publicly funded tertiary level educational institution in London. The application
deadline is 9th January 2015.
SEASREP Language Training and Postgraduate Study Grants for Southeast Asians,
2015/2016
The SEASREP Foundation offers grants to Indonesian students for language training and
postgraduate study. The language training grant supports the any foreign Southeast Asian
national or local language (other than applicants own) study through a non-degree course and
postgraduate study grant is awarded to pursue M.A. or PhD in social sciences or humanities and
postdoctoral research program. Applications should be submitted by 9th January 2015.

RNTC Fellowships for Indonesian Students


RNTC is offering fellowships for developing countries students. These fellowships are available
for professional journalists, programme-makers, broadcast trainers and managers. They cover the
course fee (up to 50%), not the costs for travel and accommodation. RNTC Fellowships are
unlike NFP fellowships. The fellowships will be awarded on academic and professional merit.
The application deadlines differ from subject to subject.
Alphawood Scholarships for Postgraduate Students at SOAS in UK, 2015-2016
SOAS, University of London is inviting applications for postgraduate scholarships for 2015/16
entry. Scholarships are awarded to pursue postgraduate certificates and diplomas, MA
programmes and full-time MPhil/PhD programme focuses on Southeast Asian art. The
Scholarships will cover tuition fees in full, and a generous maintenance allowance towards the
costs of living and studying in central London, as well as flights to and from the UK at the start
and end of the course. Visa costs will also be covered. The application deadline is 18th December
2014.
Chevening/Brunel Partnership Award for Indonesian Students in UK, 2015
Chevening Awards are given to Indonesian students for pursuing one year master program. A
Chevening/Brunel Partnership Award includes full tuition fees for chosen course at Brunel;
country fee caps do not apply. Candidate will also receive the same allowance and stipend
package as a main Chevening Award. As a Chevening/Brunel Partnership Award recipient,
they will stand to benefit from an expanding suite of unique networking and engagement
opportunities offered by Chevening Partners. The last date to apply is 15 November, 2014.
Blue Bag Water Innovation Award for Indonesian Students in Sweden, 2015
Blue Bag Water Innovation award is available for Indonesian students to undertake a twoyear Masters Programme in Water Resources Engineering at Lund University. The winning idea
will be awarded a full-tuition scholarship to study in Sweden, an internship in Indonesia during
their studies annual return flights to Sweden and a monthly living allowance provided by Lund
University and IKEA Indonesia. This is a prize package worth approximately 48,000 in total.
The application deadline is November 12, 2014.
Asia Foundation Development Fellows Program in Asia and USA, 2015
The Asia Foundation is inviting applications for development fellowships available for young
professionals from Indonesia to strengthen their leadership skills and gain in-depth knowledge of

Asias critical development challenges. It is a year long fellowship program involving intensive
learning modules short courses, conferences and study tours in Asia and the USA. It is not a
full-time fellowship. Fellows will typically remain in their occupations throughout the fellowship
year while participating in the programs modules. The last date to apply is November 12, 2014.
Sri Lankan Government Presidential Scholarships
Applications are invited for up to 100 Sri Lankan Government Scholarships available for foreign
students to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate degree commencing in December 2014 in Sri
Lanka. Scholarships are open for courses of studies other than Medical & Dental Sciences. Every
student is required to undergo an HIV/AIDS test within a month after arrival. Candidates should
apply for this scholarship with the recommendation of the government scholarship nominating
agency (Ministry/Institution) of the respective country till 15th October, 2014.
Southern African Young Scientists Summer Program (SA-YSSP)
Applications are invited for Southern African Young Scientists Summer Program (SA-YSSP)
available to talented young researchers to work with scientists from South Africa and IIASA.
This program is open to the applicants from South Africa, the Southern African Development
Community (SADC) or IIASA member countries to conduct research at the University of the
Free State in Bloemfontein, South Africa. Application should be submitted till 3rd August, 2014.
NAM S&T Centre DST (South Africa) Training Fellowships
Department of Science & Technology (DST), Republic of South Africa and NAM S&T Centre
are offering training fellowships on Minerals Processing & Benefaction. Twenty Fellowships are
available this year for a maximum duration of three months. The selected Fellows will be hosted
and attached to MINTEK, South Africa. This programme will bear direct and indirect benefits
for the Fellows from the member countries of the NAM S&T Centre and the host country, South
Africa, through creation of networks and exposure to new developments in mineral processing
and beneficiation. Application should be submitted till 31st August 2014.
DAAD Master Scholarships for Public Policy and Good Governance
DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) is funding master scholarships in Public Policy
and Good Governance at German institution in Germany. A monthly scholarship rate of currently
750 will be awarded. Scholarships also provide health insurance, travel allowance as well as a
study and research subsidy and in applicable cases accommodation subsidies and/or family
allowances. The next application deadline is 31st July 2014.
Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship
The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) invites
applications for college scholarships available for international students to study at a Japanese
college of technology. A graduated grantee will be awarded a diploma and an associate
degree. Scholarship awards will be tenable for four years from April, 2015 to March, 2019

including one-year preparatory education in the Japanese language and other subjects due to be
provided upon arrival in Japan.
MMMF Grant for Women of Developing Countries
Margaret McNamara Memorial Fund is offering grant for women of developing countries in
South Africa. Applicant must be women and enrolled at the University of Pretoria, the University
of Cape Town, the University of Stellenbosch or the University of Witwatersrand. The deadline
for applications is August 31, 2014.
Full-fee Postgraduate Indonesian Scholarship Scheme
Coventry University is awarding two full fee Indonesian scholarships. Scholarships (up to a
maximum of 12,000) will be awarded to study any postgraduate course at the Coventry campus.
Scholarships will be awarded on a competitive basis and applicants will need to submit a 500
word essay. The application deadline is 31st July 2014 for September 2014 intake.
iLEAP International Fellowship Program in USA
Applications are invited for iLEAP International Fellowship to participate to participate in eightweek intensive leadership training program that runs from October 20, 2014 to December 12,
2014. Preference will be given to citizens of Southeast Asian countries. Fellowship covers all
participation costs, including round-trip airfare to/from Seattle, room/board, visa/immigration,
transportation, living stipend and all program related expenses. Finalists join an international
cohort of up to 15 iLEAP Fellows from Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Finalists will also play
a key role in the growth of the iLEAP Southeast Asia Leadership Initiative. The application
deadline is 30th June, 2014
Undergraduate Scholarships in Ireland
University College Dublin is offering undergraduate scholarships for the students of Malaysia,
Indonesia or Thailand. Up to 4 tuition fee scholarships, valued between 3,000 5,000 will be
awarded. Clinical programmes are not eligible for these scholarships. All eligible Applications
received by 30th April 2014 will be considered
James Henry Green Asia Scholarship
University of Sussex is offering Asia scholarship to pursue an MA degree in Anthropology,
Development Studies or Migration Studies. The one-year scholarship provides an award of
5,000 as a contribution to tuition fees. The scholarship-holder is expected to submit a final
report to RP&M and to forward a bound copy of their MA thesis after successful submission.
Application should be submitted till 30th April 2014.
International Heritage Scholarship for Indonesian Students
The scholarship for Indonesian students is available for pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate
Coursework degree level at Curtin University in Australia. This scholarship provides eligible

students 25% of their first year tuition fee, up to a maximum of AUD$10,000. Application should
be submitted till July 18, 2014.
Yousef Jameel Doctoral Scholarships for Indonesian Students
Scholarships for Indonesian students are for pursuing PhD programme at Humboldt University
of Berlin. The scholarships are awarded for a period of three years and commence on October
1. To be eligible for this scholarship, English and German skills are required. Women and
disabled students are encouraged to apply. The deadline for applications is 15th July 2014.
IDRC Doctoral Research Awards for Indonesian Students
Awards are available for pursuing doctoral studies at a Canadian university. Students must have
completed coursework and passed comprehensive exams before taking up the award.
Approximately 20 to 25 awards are offered per competition and will cover justifiable field
research expenses up to CA$20,000 a year. Applications will close on April 2, 2014.
Marshal Papworth Scholarships for Indonesian Students
The scholarships for Indonesian students are available for pursuing postgraduate and a short
course programme. MSc & MA scholarships vary in value from 14,500 to 21,500 depending
on location and chosen university/College. The scholarships for Indonesian students are designed
to fund the majority of tuition fees, living expenses and travel costs. Last date for submitting
applications is 24th March 2014.
Young Talented Leaders Scholarship in Spain
The IE Foundation, in collaboration with AJE, is providing the Young Talented Leaders
Scholarships for the academic year 2014-2015. Scholarship is open for students from Indonesia
and Thailand. Scholarships are offered for pursuing bachelor degree programmes at IE
University. The scholarships will cover all tuition fees, transportation and accommodation
in Spain for the scholarship recipient for the duration of the degree program at IE University.
The application deadline is March 15, 2014.
Sagawa International Students Scholarship Foundation
Kyushu University is offering international scholarships for self-financed students from
Southeast Asian countries. To be eligible for this scholarship, students must be in the master and
doctoral course at Kyushu University as of April, 2014 and under 35 years old as of April 4,
2014. Application should be submitted till March 14, 2014.
BOF Doctoral Scholarships for Indonesian Students
University of Ghent is funding doctoral scholarships in Belgium. Scholarships are awarded
to PhD students from developing countries who wish to carry out their PhD research at Ghent
University. The candidate obtains a scholarship for 24 months which must be divided into several
periods within a span of 4 years. The application deadline is March 4, 2014.

Scholarships for Masters Programmes at Mae Fah Luang University


Mae Fah Luang University is offering masters scholarships for international students from
Myanmar, Lao PDR, Vietnam, Cambodia and Indonesia. Scholarships are available to study
masters programme in Food Technology and in Technology Management of Agricultural
Produces for the 2014-2015 academic session in the School of Agro-Industry. Application should
be submitted till February 28, 2014.
ASEAN Undergraduate Scholarship for Indonesian Students
The scholarship for Indonesian students is available for pursuing undergraduate degree level at
National University of Singapore (NUS). Candidates will be considered and shortlisted for
interviews through their application for admission to NUS. No separate scholarship application is
required. Scholarship will be offered for the duration of the course. Application deadline is 21st
February 2014.
Netherlands Fellowship Programmes for Indonesian Students
NFP is offering fellowships for masters and PhD students. Applicants can apply for Masters
degree programmes and short courses in the application period of December 2013- February
2014. Applicants must have a clear-cut, work relationship with a relevant organisation and be in
a position to introduce the newly acquired skills and knowledge into that organization. Deadline
to apply for each institute differs.
Early Career Development Fellowship for Indonesian Students
The International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) and OCLC are
offering Jay Jordan IFLA/OCLC Early Career Development Fellowship for Developing
Countries Applicants. Applicants must have a qualifying degree in library or information science.
On an annual basis program sponsors select up to five individuals. Applications will close on
February 13, 2015.
Georg Forster Research Fellowship (HERMES) for Indonesian Students
The Georg Forster Research Fellowship (HERMES) is awarded for postdoctoral researchers to
conduct a self-selected, long-term research project (6-24 months) in cooperation. PhD or
comparable academic degree (Ph.D., C.Sc. or equivalent), completed in no more than four years
the date of application. Applications are accepted from 01.07.2013 to expected mid 2015.
