Brothers and sisters,

I have a question to ask to all of you, how do you

feel if you are in the hardtime of your life and
suffering the big obstacles but in the same time
you are still to be in state of bliss and
contentment. Can you imagine it?

Allah mentioned in the quran, sabr jameel. Fasbir

sabran jameela from surah maarij, what can we
understand literally is beautiful patience. So what
is beatiful patience? And what is the connection
between patience and beauty?
Allah SWT has elevated patience to something
that is beautiful, thus bringing us away from the
materialistic view of things and letting us look
beyond into the spiritual realm. He SWT is telling
us:

But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for

you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad
for you. And Allah Knows, while you know not.
(baqarah:216)

He SWT reminds us that trials, the need for

patience, and to display it with dignity and
beauty is because of the final day when our
deeds will be our only source of salvation. He
SWT also tells us that everyone in this world is
bound to go through trials as this is how people
are tested and believers are separated from the
others.

And We will surely test you until We make evident

those who strive among you [for the cause of
Allah ] and the patient, and We will test your
affairs. (muhammad:31)

We have the examples of Bilal (RA), Sumayya

(RA), Khubaib (RA) and other companions who
displayed not only supernatural endurance to
immense sufferings but joy while inflicted with
torture. How could it be that they were happy
while others around them were crying over their
pain?

We can only understand it if we have

experienced even a moment of reality of Iman
where
everything
in
this
life
becomes
meaningless and the only thing that matters is
making Allah SWT happy. These people had

reached a level where they were already living in

the hereafter and they weighed every situation
according to its significance in the afterlife.
Dear brothers and sisters,
Allah SWT is the one who has created us with
emotions and feelings, and He knows that it is
not easy to be patient over the hardship of life.
This is why He SWT has promised immense
rewards for those who can handle the situation
patiently until the difficulties blows away from
them.

Have faith in him that every obstacles and

tribulation just a test from Allah that are not
beyond from our abillities to face it. La
yukallifullahu nafsan illa wus'aha. Allah does not
charge a soul except [with that within] its
capacity. (baqarah: 286). So dont have to feel
bad if anything happen just not as our dream to
be true.
