To meet this commitment we had implemented a management system in our operations that
accord with the requirements of our Health, Safety & Environmental standards and strive to:Ensure that our operations comply with all applicable Health, Safety & Environmental laws
and regulations.
Implement controls to protect all personnel involved in our activities, to prevent pollution and
to protect Biodiversity.
Provide Health, Safety & Environmental training to our employees plus actively promote
awareness of Health, Safety & Environmental issues.
Ensure that Contractors are aware of our policies plus standards and where necessary,
work with our Contractors to raise their standards to meet them.
Foster a culture where accidents, incidents and near misses are reported, investigated and
the lessons learned are shared throughout the organization.
Monitor our performance plus conduct regular audits to ensure our controls are effective
and that our Health, Safety & Environmental aspirations are being achieved.
Set objectives including targets for improving our Health, Safety & Environmental
performance plus report openly on our performance. Ensure that a high priority is placed on
emergency preparedness, contingency planning and regularly tested, so that any incidents
can be responded in a timely and effective manner.
Work with Government and regulatory bodies for improving laws, policies, regulations and
procedures aimed at protecting health, safety and the environment. Consult with and
respond to the concerns of other stakeholders on our Health, Safety & Environmental
performance.
