Over 11 years of leadership developing a team of broadcast engineers from the baseband telecommunications technologies world
to the new Digital Media and IT/IP infrastructures of the future, terrestrial fiber and satellite transmission backbone. Manage a
distributed team of 40 staff, including engineering teams, field operations and satellite operations team. Lead the business process
review and enhancements in the design and implementation of a New Media department. Senior Engineer in the team and
workflow design and build of four HD control rooms. Serve as a key Satellite Engineering subject matter expert in designing and
leading uplink capabilities for the network Satellite Operations. IP infrastructure designer and future designer of Evertz, Aspen, NMI
and L band IP infrastructures.
Proven Success & Impact:
Led the project design, implementation and construction of the first digital and High Definition (HD) News Bureau systems and
transmissions in Mexico City, Mexico and Miami, Florida. New IP and production control room initialization.
Virtualization of file management and transfer management system using multi core processing UCS system.
Implemented a cost savings fiber connectivity solution in the USA and Mexico news bureau and connections back to network in
Hialeah. Created video over IP and data ring with redundancy in a various TV news and production environments.
Created project design and implementation of the first tapeless environment for Sports and Magazine TV shows.
Served as a key role on a project rollout of AVID editing for network and Mun2 Los Angeles. Produced the workflows and
implementation of new technologies for journalist desktop editing.
Supervised Satellite TOC center construction and configuration, ensuring full compliance and licensing with the FCC and NBC
corporate.
Integrated Ku & C Band transmission dishes with Tandberg, Ericsson and Adtec and NTT encoding for content distribution.
VOIP and H.264 encoding of HD and 4K video.
Operations Manager for all Womens World Cup 2015 onsite transmission design. Also the Technical Operations Manager for
Miss Universe Pageants, Royal Wedding in London and Pope Benefaction in 2011, the 2012, 2015 Olympics games and two
Mexican Presidential elections.

Managed 10 engineers and a facilities crew of 6, as well as Studios, Teleport and Facilities systems. Managed procurement and
client performance, including all technical responsibilities and contract negotiations with new and existing clients. Designed and
documented and worked with contractors as engineering projects manager on new studio sound stages build for Globecast NA.
Project managed all new satellite builds and play out areas and automation for 60 clients in one facility. Managed a 24/7 facility with
10 engineers and facilities crew of 6.
Proven Success & Impact:
Produced new Satellite and Fiber transmission technologies and VOIP and IP streaming for broadcast and digital media
platforms. Leading Project Engineer for all new clients and studios technical support and system design.
Led International satellite transmission and data transmissions across Ku, C Band and VSAT transmission systems.
Managed all video compression systems including European and domestic systems along with reliability factors. List of clients
include: Cisco, Ericcson, Tandberg, Adtec
Implemented post-mortem process to evaluate lessons learned and corrective measures for domestic and international TV and
cable clients in Latin America.
Technical Engineer for all the technical broadcast needs within the Globecast project and TV stages construction. This included
all power and broadcast equipment needs, which is now privately held by Venevision studios.
