On 12-4-11 at approximately 1522 hours I, Officer RAMUNNO and Officer

B. CARR were dispatched to 11595 Northgate Way in reference to a
juvenile who was swinging a sword in the front yard of the residence.
Upon arrival we met with guardian WALTER HAZELWOOD and JUVENILE at
this residence. I spoke with both parties and advised them why we were
here. JUVENILE stated that he was swinging the sword in the front yard
because he was practicing for karate. HAZELWOOD advised that JUVENILE
is not supposed to be playing in the front yard and that he did not
know he was out there with the sword.
We then met with complainant JORGE SALCEDO who lives across the street
at 11600 Northgate Way. SALCEDO stated that the JUVENILE was swinging
the sword in the front yard and throwing knives in the trees. SALCEDO
stated that this makes his whole family uncomfortable and does not let
his kids play in the front yard because he believes JUVENILE is
dangerous and has issues. SALCEDO stated that he has had several
incidents with JUVENILE and does not want him around his residence.
SALCEDO requested that JUVENILE be issued a criminal trespass warning
not to enter his property.
I then spoke again with JUVENILE and HAZELWOOD. I advised him that he
is receiving a criminal trespass warning and to not enter the property
of SALCEDO. Both JUVENILE and HAZELWOOD signed the warning. We also
advised JUVENILE the dangers of playing with weapons near the public
and advised him that if the plays with them he needs to do so in the
back yard and with his guardians supervision.
