CL 11 (commercial levelling compound consisting of high quality

special cement and selected fillers)

1. Surface preparation:
All sharp edges and undulations shall be made flush with the surface using
mechanical means. All floor area shall be cleaned and made free from contaminants
which inhibit the bond.
Note:
1.1. New cementitious surface shall be allowed to cure and dry as per the standard
practice.
1.2. The substrate shall have moisture content of less than 5%.
1.3. This product shall not be used where temperature less than 5 Deg C.
1.4. Flatness of the base should be checked for level to ensure that the specified
thickness of product can be applied over the whole area.
1.5. The base should be hard & strong (minimum surface tensile bond strength of 1.5
N/Sqmm).
1.6. This product shall not be applied in exterior conditions.
1.7. Cracks, if any, shall be treated using EP 320 (low viscous epoxy resin crack
injection system)
1.8. Panel joints and construction joints shall be treated using polymer modified
mortar admixed with E 135 (SBR, multipurpose concentrated liquid polymer
additive and bonding agent).
1.9. All the expansion & movement joints should be properly cut and maintained for
terminations.
1.10.
Any other miscellaneous items or any clarification about the installation
procedure, please do contact Central Technical Service Department.
2. Primer application:
1 For porous / absorbent surfaces:
1
Stir P 51 (single component water based emulsion primer), and mix with
water using heavy duty electric slow speed drilling machine attached with
suitable mixing paddle, to achieve a uniform mix.
2
Apply the mixed P 51 one part and water of three parts at coverage of 100
Smtr / 5 Ltr of P 51, using brush / roller on all floor surfaces and allow it to dry
completely.
3
Apply second coat of mixed P 51 one part and water one part at coverage of
35 Smtr / 5 Ltrs P 51, to all floor surfaces and allow it to dry completely.
2 For smooth / dense / non absorbent surfaces:
1
Take suitable size mixing vessel which can accommodate all components. Stir
and pour 3Kg Part A of P 82, start mixing using heavy duty electric slow
speed drilling machine attached with suitable mixing paddle, stir and add 3
Kg Part B of P 82 and mix it till homogeneous mix is obtained.
2
Apply mixed P 82 to all floor area using foam /short pile paint roller / paint
brush / squeeze as a thin coat and allow it to dry completely. The coverage
shall be 5 to 10 Smtr per Kg of P 82.
2. Application of CL 11:
1
Take suitable size mixing vessel which can accommodate all components. Pour 5.5
to 6 Ltrs water, start mixing using heavy duty electric slow speed drilling machine
attached with suitable mixing paddle, and add 25 Kg CL 11 and mix it till
homogeneous mix is obtained.
2
Since, the mixed material shall be used within 25 minutes do not mix more
material which cannot be used within the working time.
3
Pour mixed CL 11 on the primed surface and spread using flat / notch steel
trowel / depth set pin rake trowel at required thickness (3-5mm in single pour).

Finally, the CL 11 shall be gently rolled using spike roller to remove the entrapped
air during mixing process and to blend the trowel marks. Spreading and spike
rolling shall be completed within the working time.
5
CL 11 surface is walkable after 3 hrs and ready to receive floor coverings in 48 hrs
at 27 Deg C.
