ABSTRACT

RELATIONSHIP ATTITUDE AND MOTIVATION TO ORDER THE


MOTHER PREGNANT IN DOING PRENATAL CARE VISIT
IN HEALTH PEUSANGAN BIREUEN DISTRICT

Based on the research of the World Health Organization (WHO)
worldwide are maternal deaths per 500,000 inhabitants and infant mortality by 10
million inhabitants per year. Maternal mortality and infant deaths occurred mainly
in developing countries by 99%. Actually, maternal and infant mortality have
enormous opportunities to be avoided by increasing cooperation between
government, private sector and other social agencies. This study aims to determine
the relationship of attitude and motivation with the regularity of pregnant women
in antenatal care visit in Puskesmas Bireuen Peusangan 2016.
This research is an analytic with cross sectional approach. The sampling
technique in this research is accidental sampling or convenience sampling with
sample number 51.
From the research data that will be undertaken by researchers at getting the
results that there is a relationship attitude with regularity pregnant mothers to visit
antenatal care at the health center Peusangan Bireuen District 2016, p value =
0.002 (p value <a) and there is a relationship of motivation with regularity mother
pregnant in a visit antenatal care at the health center Peusangan Bireuen District
2016, p value = 0.000 (p value <a).
The conclusion of this study are : there is a relationship attitudes and
motivations with the regularity of pregnant women in antenatal care visit in
Puskesmas Bireuen district Peusangan Year 2016. Saran is expected, in order to
provide information / education about antenatal care visits, and is expected to
mothers so that they can search for information through the media to recognize
the antenatal care visits in accordance with existing standards.
