About the Cover

Through the centuries many people have influenced the course of history. Only a few have
contributed and enriched so many diverse areas of human endeavor as Leonardo Da Vinci. He was
a Hu-Man with an extraordinary spirit and thirst for knowledge and exploration.
We think of Leonardo as a genius. And rightly so. The word genius is derived from the
creative expressions he left for us. He left a blazing trail in the fine arts, anatomy, astronomy,
science of light and color, transportation, military engineering and biology to name a few. At a
time when even the ability to read was considered an achievement, he saw the world differently
than most of his contemporaries as did other people we call geniuses. What sets these people apart
is their vision, open mind to receive, creativity and passion to express their visions. Leonardo's

own words eloquently express it:

"The figure whose attitude best expresses the passion that moves
it, is most worthy of praise."
It was a tribute to the genius of Leonardo Da Vinci, that NASA chose his drawing as one of
the symbols to be found by Extraterrestrial Beings, should they encounter the Voyager Space
Probe. In the words of Vetruvius, from whom Leonardo learned, Man is a Macrocosm and a
Microcosm. As the parts of the human body are in harmony with the Macrocosm we call man, so
is the man to the Macrocosm of the Universe. Voyager had a message to Extraterrestrial
Civilizations across the space-time continuum. Leonardo had a message across time to our
civilization. Will we ever know what he meant? If we follow his advice, as individuals and as a
Civilization, I believe we will:

"One can have no smaller or greater Mastery, than the

Mastery over Oneself"

Why is this Book so small

I've seen dozens and dozens of courses that have
come with huge work books, implying that you needed to know
everything in the book in order to succeed.
This course is different; you already have all the tools and capability you
need. This course will simply sharpen your already powerful mind, and
teach you a strategy for reading that works universally for any type of
material. This book will be a guide with workspace for the exercises and
space for notes for you to refer to in the future.
I believe, everyone has potential brilliance and is remarkably capable,
when committed. By getting this far it already shows you have the
willingness to improve. Continue through the program, and without a
shadow of a doubt you will!

pioneer in the positive effects of music, learning and brain states. Dr. Thompson utilizes a very
specialized combination of Holonomic Binaural
IntegrationTM primordial processing and 3 dimensional processing to create acoustic sound
patterns and pulse rates that enhance receptivity to learning and understanding at a deep level by
integratting the left and right sides of the brain.
What that means to you is that it can really help you learn faster and become absorbed
into what you're reading just by listening to the music !!

Three Steps to
Learning
Belief 1) - A belief that you are able and that the methods
will work for you. Just by knowing this, it frees you to move on successfully.
without any doubt or questioning - which can stop even the most capable
people as the brain will not do what it doesn't believe is possible.

2) Conditioning - Continuous repetition in short intense

intervals so that the brain becomes accustomed to going faster and understanding and
recalling information. The human body is a most adaptable being that will always
respond the the conditions. Discipline and faith will help you continue conditioning
exercises outlined on tape 5a. 5 minutes a day is all that is needed.

3) Strategy - A road map of how to prepare before taking on a

book, regardless of reading for pleasure or serious study (or both). The right strategy

relieves the burden of having to figure it out or only being effective some of the time.

Brain State
4 Keys
1) Physically relax -stretch or energize in
whatever way is appropriate for you.

2) Clear mind - By breathing and listening to

your heartbeat.

3) Become confident - If needed, recall

positive memories so as to remember the
state you are in when you feel confident.

4) Mental Rehearsal - Visualize each step to

impress it on to your brain.

Mind Mapping
4 Keys

1) Do it FAST!!
2) Don't care about looks
3) Two open lines for every word 4)
Associate words using lines
5) Don't think!
Do it spontaneously

Preparation Three
Elements
1) Activate Your Imagination Focus entire
body on cover and table of contents.

2) Intensify curiosity
Ask thousands of questions, with emotion.

3) Turn on Brain Power Photocopy and/or

arm/leg swing exercise, upside down, one
eye etc!.. .

Read

4 Keys
1) Mentally silent
2) Singularly focused
3) Eyes wide open
4) Focus, soft, wide and from behind your
head.

Questions for you to answer:

How do we prevent eye strain?

Why do we use mind mapping?

Why do we get our brain in the right state first?

What would happen if we didn't prepare before we read?

What's the benefit of photocopying?

How do we get our imagination into the book?

Why do we ask questions about what we're reading?

What would happen if we missed any of these steps?

How do I do this?

About the Author

Ed Strachar
A highly educated former electronics engineer in the U. S. Defense industry, Ed has achieved many milestones
including a patent on a highly specialized semiconductor used in modern aerospace computers.
Having out-grown electronics, Ed traveled
extensively, teaching and consulting in the former Soviet Union and Czechoslovakia. Ed studied chess under the
Grandmasters of chess in Russia. This taught him some unique perspectives about focus and concentration. He then
studied mental training methods used by top athletes. Thereafter he found a unique co-existence between top athletes
and Eastern and Western spiritual principles. By integrating them and then applying them to activities such as sports,
sales, chess, public performance, electronic design and reading, remarkable results were achieved within a very short
time (usually minutes).
Ed then sought to combine and publish this knowledge and formed InGenius Inc. Ed then turned his inventive mind to
bringing out powerful abilities in people in a very short time. Having gone into schools all across the world and
teaching kids to read at exceptionally high rates with incredible recall in only a couple of hours, Ed has also trained
many of the fastest readers in the world. He also works with Olympic and professional athletes.
Author of "The Performers Edge". Ed has trained people to serve tennis balls at over 100 mph in just 90 minutes,
trained swimmers to break records with only a 30 minute training session, and with Reading Genius has trained
thousands of people world wide. People have reported not only miraculous shifts in their reading abilities but also their
performance and focus on everything they do being substantially greater and thus yielding better results in less time.
One of Ed's goals is to teach 80,000 people in a football stadium at one time and to have the world reading like this
within 10 years.
Originally from New York City, Ed now resides in California's infamous Silicon Valley. A fitness and health
enthusiast, Ed dedicates time/earnings to Youth at Risk programs worldwide and believes that they're a grossly
misunderstood sector of society that, if properly focused, can make a substantial positive contribution to their
community.
