IICA is in the process of setting up an India International Mediation Organisation for


handling various pre and post litigation disputes in relation to:

Company Law
Real estate
IPR disputes

Start-up industry
Banking & Finance
Sports Law

Entertainment law
Contractual
Partitions, etc.

As a first step in its initiative, IICA proposes to carry out a series of mediation training across
India (Delhi, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Telangana, West Bengal, Tamil Naidu and Assam).
The training shall be organized in association with Bridge Mediation & Consulting India,
pioneers in international mediation training in India who have conducted mediation trainings
at Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar, National Law University, Jodhpur (NLU-J)
and Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai.

The applicant must be a practising or retired professional as above or a graduate or post
graduate student in any stream (including 4th year and 5th year students of 5 year
professional course in law or final year students of 3 year professional course or students of
post graduate course in law or management) from any recognized University/Educational

Early bird discount of INR 2000 for Indian Participants and US$ 60 for International
Participants to the first 10 registrations.
Upon confirmation of registration, fees paid shall be non-refundable.
Cost of travel, boarding and lodging to be taken care of by the participants only.
Invitation letter for visa, assistance for boarding and lodging would be provided to
International Participants.

2. Attach an additional photograph for ID card other than the one pasted on the
registration form.
3. Make the payment of applicable fee by way of Demand Draft/Cheque in favour of
Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs payable at New Delhi or NEFT/RTGS.
4. Cheque/Demand Draft in original or NEFT/RTGS Receipt.
5. Self attested photo ID with Address Proof (e.g. passport, Aadhar Card etc.)
6. Self attested student ID Card (if applicable) for availing the student discount.
7. Registration form may also be downloaded from the IICAs website www.iica.in and
sent through post/email at address below.

Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs

Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) has been established by


the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India for capacity
building and training in various subjects related to corporate
regulation and governance. The institute has also established
specialized Centers of Excellence in various areas such as Business
Innovation, e-Governance, Corporate Governance and Corporate Law
and Regulation. Few of the key objectives of IICA are setting up a
state-of-the-art Knowledge Management Services system for research
and dissemination of knowledge to various stakeholders in the corporate sector, catalyzing
appropriate regulatory and service delivery responses on the basis of changing national and
global business environment and training and capacity building ofofficials of the Ministry of

Profile of Trainers
Stefano Cardinale

Mediator & Trainer (European Union)

Mr. Cardinale is currently a member of the order in Rome and Barcelona, where he practices
as a lawyer, professional negotiator, mediator, international management consultant and
trainer. He is external independent expert of the EU Commission. He is co-founder, partner,
mediator and trainer of Deconflict, an ADR provider and the first Italian mediators training
center authorized in 2006 by the Italian Minister of Justice. He is founder and CEO of SC
Legal Consulting, which in 2015 merged with other 2 Italian law firms to create an
international network of law firms, Legal and Consulting International. In 2012 Mr. Cardinale
co-founded Medialogos, a non for profit organization for the promotion of mediation and
peaceful conflict resolution in family, criminal, educational and environmental matters.
Presently he is international & comparative ADR lecturer at Universidad Abat Oliva CEU,
Barcelona campus. He is mediators trainer in many prestigious Indian Universities, such as
Gujarat National Law University, National Law University Jodhpur and Tata Institute for
Social Sciences (India). He has been guest speaker in international conflict management
and mediation lectures at the World Trade Center of San Diego, at University of California
San Diego (USA), at the American Chamber of Commerce of Milan, at the International
Development Law Organization, at Magna Graecia University of Catanzaro, at Verona
University, at Padova University (Italy), at Kharkov Law School (Ukraine), at Bar Council of
India Golden Jubilee Celebrations in 2012 (India). In 2011 he was trainer of crisis negotiation

Anuroop Omkar

Mediator and Trainer

Omkar is the Managing Director and promoter of Bridge Mediation and Consulting Pvt. Ltd.
India. He holds a B.Com. LL.B. (Hons.) degree from Gujarat National Law University,
Gandhinagar, India. He is a professional Mediator and Negotiator trained from U.S.A and
Europe. He has co-authored legal best seller titled The Art of Negotiation and MediationWishbone, Funny bone & a backbone published by LexisNexis in 2015. He is the youngest
appointed mediator at Delhi Dispute Resolution Society, Ministry of Law and Justice,
Government of Delhi. He also works as a Principal Associate at a reputed law firm in New
Delhi and is engaged in transactional practice and civil litigation across various courts in
India. He is part of the committee appointed by Ministy of Corporate Affairs for introducing
mediation in corporate disputes. He is a Member of International Centre for Alternative
Dispute Resolution (ICADR) and Fellow of World Mediation Organization (WMO), Berlin,
Germany.

Puja Dewan

Mediator and Trainer

Ms. Dewan is the Officiating Director of Delhi Dispute Resolution Society, Department of
Law Justice and Legislative Affairs, Government of Delhi. She has been instrumental in
conducting various mediation trainings on behalf of Department of Law, Justice and
Legislative Affairs, Government of Delhi. She has done several mediations close to the tune
of more than 2000. She has previously served as a Member of District Consumer Disputes
Redressal Forum, Ludhiana. She is a post graduate in law and arts. She is an alumni of
Lady Siri Ram College, Delhi University, India.

Kritika Krishnamurthy

Mediator and Trainer

Kritika has completed her education from Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar.
She has co-authored legal best seller titled The Art of Negotiation and MediationWishbone, Funny bone & a backbone published by LexisNexis in 2015. She is a skilled
trainer and has developed curriculum and course material for mediation. She works as a
Senior Associate at a reputed law firm in New Delhi. She is a Fellow of World Mediation
Organization (WMO), Berlin, Germany.

Arshaluys Mushkambaryan

Psychology & Body Language Expert

Ms. Mushkambaryan is a Lecturer in the Department of Political processes and technologies


at the Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University, Armenia where she conducts courses on
Conflict Resolution & Negotiation Management and Psychology of Negotiations. She also
regularly conducts trainings on Non-verbal communication in Mediation for ADR Partners
LLC.

Ms. Geetanjali Sharma

Mediator and Trainer

Ms. Geetanjali Sharma has obtained her B.A LLB at National Law University, Jodhpur with
two gold medals. She has her masters in law from University of Cambridge, UK. She is a
Becker law scholar & received first class hons (distinction) in two taught courses. She has
received the 40 hours certified training of Cross Culture Negotiation and Mediation provided
by Bridge Mediation LLC, USA. She is a full scholarship recipient of Hague Academy of
International Law, Private International Law program. She has closely worked with mediators
and has observed the functioning of court annexed mediation in the High Court of Patna.
She has co-ordinated and organized mediation training workshops in Jodhpur.

Nitya Bansal

Mediator & Trainer

Nitya is a Senior Consultant with Legal League Consulting and is a core member of their
Strategic Communications and Knowledge Outreach team. She is also involved in the
Management of T.I.T.L.I (Trainings in the Legal Industry) an initiative to provide all-round
professional skills trainings for lawyers. She is a 2009 Law graduate and has a Masters in
Law from National University of Singapore. She is a trained mediator and is associated with
Delhi Dispute Resolution Society (DDRS). She is part of the world-wide network of
Integrative/ Comprehensive Lawyers and one of the founding members of the Delhi chapter
of Legal Hackers.

Monika Chakravarti

Mediator & Trainer

Monika is a graduate of Miranda House, Delhi University. She is a law graduate from Jamia
Milia University, Delhi. She was member of Delhi commission for woman (DCW). She is
presently handling various institutional mediations. She is practicing in various Delhi courts.
