Operational experiences
Benefits of a gas engine
Advantages:
Lower emissions and more controllable emissions with a Catalyst
No sulphur and sod in the exhaust gas system ( Exhaust gas cooled to 120-160 oC)

About AEA

Higher energy efficiency and operational economy because it is possible to reach lower

Choosing gas - oil

exhaust gas temperature.

Danish DH

Easy daily maintaining

A cleaner working environment

Plant layout

Longer operating time between service intervals

Engine controls are easy intergraded into the Intergraded Ships Controls (ISC) system.

Safety aspects

Simple safety rules/ legislation

Service aspects
Operational exp.

Disadvantages:
The higher initial cost

Contact us

Requires gas pipeline

Conclusion:
The higher initial cost of a gas engine, is offset by the its life time benefits and higher
efficiency.
