Using Instructional PowerPoint, the teacher will teach


the students how to recognize main ideas within a
story.
1. Teacher will introduce the concept of Main Idea
by guiding the class discussion in identifying the
main ideas of the story.
2. Teacher will have students write their
suggestions on their IPads and, when called on
by teacher, the student will upload one of the

3. Teacher will then have the students evaluate
whether or not the suggestions from the class
are indeed related to Main Idea concepts of the
story.
4. Teacher will erase the suggestions that do not
