The Easter Bunny takes action to stop Tech Sgt. Robert
Ashley from sneaking into the Easter Egg Hunt.
The Annual Easter Egg Hunt at RAF Croughton heralded the
arrival of Sunny Days and outdoor activity.
Nearly 1,000 Easter Eggs filled with candy dotted the fields
near the Community Center April 7, but they only lasted a
moment as children raced through the entry points to col-
lect as many as they could and hopefully find the golden
egg.
The golden eggs entitled children to a special candy prize.
Children hunted eggs based on age groups, and while not
hunting eggs they were occupied by a variety of activities
inside the Community center.
Shelly Radford, community Center Director estimated more

Volunteers recognized at ceremony
by Tech Sgt. Keith Houin

More than 100 volunteers were rec-

ognized April 20 at the Annual Volun-

“However, the intent of the ceremo-

community, but to inspire new volun-

quality of life on RAF Croughton,”

You Lookin’ at Me?

Little Guido, Major Paul Silas, and Big Gui-
do, Mr. Jack Sweet hit the streets of RAF
Croughton to personally invite base mem-
bers to the Soprano Theme Night at the Base
Consolidated Club.
Services and the Club continue to expand
the activities they offer and to help intro-
duce some of the programs they come up
with unique ways to advertise.
Let’s hope they don’t get these two to help
announce the bathing suit contest.
Upcoming events include a Family Night,
Mother’s Day Brunch, Free Comic Book Day,
Star Wars movie Marathon, Deep Sea Fishing
Trip and a variety of other activities.
For more information on upcoming events at
the Club or Community Center, check out the
Happenings page of the Uplink, the Weekly
Update emails or the Base Events and Ser-
vices page at www.croughton.af.mil. Photo by Tech. Sgt. Robert Ashley
