Requirements
It is very important that the IP network infrastructure and traffic should be analysed prior to installation and a proper Quality of Service (QoS) mechanism should be
implemented to ensure high voice quality when connecting ASB 150 02 systems via an IP network.
When introducing DRG for ASB 150 02 systems via an IP network, it is necessary to ensure that the LAN and WAN are suitable for handling both the traffic volume,
as well as, the highest IP quality Type of Service (ToS).
A PC installed with Internet Explorer (version 6.0 or higher) is needed to configure DRG (Web Configuration Server).

Description
Power
The power led indicates whether or not power is being supplied to the DRG
WAN
The WAN led will glow when a link is detected, then begin to blink when transmission is in progress.
LAN
The LAN led will glow when a link is detected, then begin to blink when transmission is in progress.
Phone 1 The led line 1 will glow steadily when the line is activated by the service technican (i.e. IP extension is programmed)
Phone 2 The led line 2 will glow steadily when the line is activated by the service technican (i.e. the IP extension is programmed)

DRG configuration
Accessing the Web Configuration Server
First steps to access the Web Configuration Server:
Assume the default configuration (reset to factory defaults, hold reset for 10 seconds)
Connect a configuration PC to the LAN socket (LAN socket is used for network configuration only)
The configuration PC will get an IP address from the built-in DHCP server from the DRG.
Open a web browser (Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher) and enter the IP address of the DRG in the address field
Log on to the Web Configuration Server, default is admin with blank password.
The Web Configuration Server main view consists of a number of menu links (to the left). Clicking on each of them will display its contents (configuration or
status information) in the main window accordingly. Refer to the following chapters to get details of the configuration of the DRG.
In case that a fixed WAN ports IP address shall be used, it can be changed by modifying the WAN settings (specify fixed WAN configuration).
If a DHCP server (default) is used, the DRG will request an IP address during the power up.
The WAN ports IP address can be read out under WAN status.
As soon as you know the WAN ports IP address of the DRG open a web browser (Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher) and enter the WAN ports IP address of the DRG in
the address field from any PC in the network (no need to connect a configuration PC to the LAN socket of the DRG).
NOTE
The full configuration can only be accessed from the WAN network. Default username and password is operator and DRGPASS.
Copy the software of the DRG and the BusinessPhone specific *.ini file to c:\TFTP-Root

TFTP server:
Make sure that the Operator defaults revision (i.e. BusinessPhone specific ini file, here 050331_BP_HOTLINE_AND_EARLY_H245.INI) is loaded
Telephone
Telephone is the most important tab - special attention to:
Dial plan - (x.) - default, set by operator ini file or (x.T|x.# |x.*)
Telephone line - On

For each telephone line-Line 1 and Line 2 the following settings are available:
Telephone line: Switch the telephone line On or Off.
HA mode: High Availability (support for the secondary gatekeeper) Fixed, Auto, Off (If a secondary GK is not available, this value must be Off).
Gate keeper IP (primary): The primary IP address for the gatekeeper which is responsible for managing the DRG in the specific net. If HA-mode is set to Auto,
the primary gatekeeper tells the DRG during its registration an IP-address to the Alt-GK.
Gate keeper IP (secondary): The secondary gatekeeper IP address (when HA mode is set to Fixed). If back-up is desired, the IP address should be entered here.
H323 alias: The DRG name (if command 0701 is configured, then H323 alias must correspond with command 0701) to use when registering the DRG at
the gate keeper. The H.323 alias and the telephone number must be set to unique values for each telephone line in order for the system to accept the values.
Outgoing Display name: The name to be presented on the receivers caller display.(not used with ASB 150 02)
Telephone number: The telephone number of the specific telephone line. This corresponds to the H.323 extension defined in ASB 150 02.
Incoming CLIP: If turned ON the telephone numbers, on incoming calls, are presented on the caller display attached to the DRG.
Keep alive timeout (seconds): The interval that the DRG suggest to send the keep alive broadcasts to the gatekeeper. Default is 1200 seconds.
Ring signal [0 - 9]: Choose between 10 different ring signals that the DRG can use (0-9).

The values above correspond to Assured Forwarding (DCSP 0x14) for Call Signaling and to Expedited Forwarding (DSCP 0x2e) for RTP according to
RFC2474.
The same default values are used for D42x.
Restart box
When settings have been inserted or altered, the DRG must be restarted in order to make the DRG use the new settings. Click the Restart button
to restart the DRG.
in the example above the DRG is represented as H323 terminal (DirNo 262 and 264)
NOTE
Both extensions use the same IP address
Limitations:
Not supported features and limitations:
No ring back tone from BP 250 - ring back tone comes from DRG
No FAX support
