Sherman Central Principal Entry Plan
Focus: Increasing Student Achievement, Staff
Development and Education of the Whole Child
Goals
To set high and rigorous standards for every teacher and student in Sherman Central
School and give them the support to meet those standards.
To celebrate each of our successes while avidly looking to the future and focusing on
school improvement for our students, staff and community.
To foster and continue the sense of community already evident in Sherman Central
School.
To teach every child to set high standards for after graduation, and give them the tools
through their Sherman education to reach those standards.
To work with and support Mr. Ginestre and Sherman Central School District as we pursue
a merger and/or shared services with surrounding districts.
Focuses
Personalize Learning:
We will be committed to personalizing the learning experience for each teacher and
student. Educational opportunities will be extended to meet the needs of each student
and their future path. Professional development will be personalized based on the needs
of each teacher.
Foster Collaboration:
Students, staff members, parents, administrators, and community members must work
to learn and grow together, creating a microcosm of learning that is both dynamic and
effective for all learners attending and employed by Sherman Central School District. I will
work to increase the social capital of the schools staff by being very visible, meeting with
individuals one one one whenever possible, creating learning networks, and listening to
the concerns of all constituencies.
