Till 2000 the profile of imported good changed a little with Electricity
mchy moving up and becoming the highest imported good of USA.
CONCLUSION:
After some research I found that the major sectors of USA are
Manufacturing Sector and Service Sector. These two sectors
contribute majorly for the economic growth and development of USA. As
per the above data of exports and imports of USA it is clear that the
exports and imports of the country are driven by the major sectors only.
Beside the costly nuclear Reactor Deals which were the largest
exported during 1991 and 2000 Electricity mchy was the second
largest product to be exported. Its worth noting that both these products
belong to service sector only, which shows us the sector dominance in
exports . Also, if we consider the imports Vehicles o/t railw, tramw
were the largest imported goods in 1991 and Electricity mchy in
2000. Vehicles o/t railw, tramw belong to manufacturing sector whereas
Electricity mchy belongs to service sector. This shows the sector
dominance in imports.
