Executive Board Called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Julie McCrimmon in the SRHS Community

Old Business
Russ discussed the Arizona Smiles program, when eligible purchases are made 0.5% of
the sale will go to the booster club
Banner Program revisited
o Sponsorship opportunities, used of football and baseball field to place banners
o Using the banner program can bring revenue into the clubs and school
o Fundraiser ideas athletic yearbook, ad sales, parking sales
o Board will plan a meeting with Mr. Kuffle to discuss how to revamp the banner
program and propose to the sub boosters
o Stephanie will provide board with banner program details via email
Treasure Report Russ Rosenthal
Performed checks and balances with Secretary, beginning balance of account, $6970.42
Discussed deposits made, deductions that are still pending; scholarships
New Business
Business Cards opportunity for board members at no cost, need to approve design
Fundraising Approval Procedures
o Julie recommended that the board vote on how we approve fundraiser request, she
would like to see what others vote and use the reply all option
o Stephanie would like to keep it the same way by using the bcc option
o Russ and Jeri recommended Stephanie and Julie to discuss the fundraising process
after the executive board meeting
Next meeting is September 12 at 6:00 p.m., meeting adjourned at 6:46 p.m.

Volunteer handbook and badge information shared to sub-boosters, upcoming PSO
workshop projected for August 10, 0800-0830 hours, mandatory meeting
Community Projects
o Frys Community Rewards flyers were passed to sub-booster to encourage their
parents to sign up, school can get up to $50,000 if parents register

Treasure Report Russ Rosenthal
Beginning Financial Report Balance - $6970.42
o Pending payments for scholarship to be deducted
Treasure provided guidance to sub-boosters on proper documentation and ensuring
checks and balances are made
o Financial reports are due by the 15th of the month
o Russ recommend Treasure and Secretary review and sign reports monthly
o Treasure report must be in monthly meetings and posted to webpage if applicable
o Stephanie will provide Treasure excel spreadsheet to sub-boosters
Presidents Report Julie
President provided a reminder and encouragement to members on volunteer commitment
and not to lose sight of the overall mission
Provided guidance on the volunteer application process, fingerprint cards, badges, and
new sub-booster packets; all packets need to be completed and submitted by the next
booster meeting on Sep 12 so that they can be turned into the district by Sep 15
Stephanie briefed recent changes to the Sub-Booster Information Sheet
o Sub-Boosters will no longer have their own bylaws but rules and guidelines they
would like to establish for their booster
o Bylaws will fall under umbrella of the the Main Booster/Executive Board
o Enforcement of fines will be effective this school year; missed meetings and/or
membershipmeeting schedule provided
Annual Sub-Booster membership fees have increased from $125 to $150
Mr. Kuffle, discussed funding and pay-to-play fee changes from $150 to $100

Upcoming Events briefly discussed
Fundraising Approval Stephanie answered questions from Sub-Boosters on the status of
their fundraiser request

o Sub-Boosters questioned how many booster officers are required for Sub-Booster,
minimum of President and Treasure
