A PROPOSED SPORTS COMPLEX: A Sustainable Design Supporting the University

Town Vision of the City

Balanga City starts to bloom and develop, having a vision to be a University Town on the
year 2020: The emerging hub for knowledge based businesses in the Philippines.
To be capable of calling the city an emerging hub of knowledge, it needs different
facilities that can help and improve its communitys learning environment. One of them is the
sports sector for which various events and activities are being held. A major facility which can
provide a single venue for sports development is a Sports Complex.
The proposed Sports Complex will provide the need for a site to conduct of different
Sports Competition such as City/Provincial Athletic Meets, and even Central Luzon Regional
Athletic Association (CLRAA) Athletic Competition. It can also serve as a venue for Palarong
Pambansa, a National Athletic or Sports Competition. During ordinary days, it can be used as a
place for sports enthusiast that carry out sports activities. Even different schools can use the
complex for their Physical Education program. To ensure its whole year round use, a gym or a
wellness center will be provided within the complex.
Thus this Sports Complex shall truly benefit the students, the sports enthusiast and health
conscious individuals by providing them accessible modern and complete facilities satisfying
their sports requirements. It can also help boost the tourism industry of the city through attracting
visitors from nearby provinces and cities who joins the competitions.

A PROPOSED RECREATION CENTER: Motivating People to Engage in Holistic

Endeavors

Students, employees, families and every person comes to a point where they need to relax
and enjoy doing some recreational activities, to bond and have fun with their family and friends
or to have some time by themselves.
The proposed Recreational facility will have areas for sports and physical activities,
galleries, visual and performing arts, reading and relaxing, and caf area. The combination of
these facilities will ensure the promotion of healthy lifestyle and at the same time, shaping a
persons emotional, intellectual and physical well-being. People participating these kind of
events serves as example to those who are less involved in such undertakings.
Being able to construct this facility would help us strengthen our relationship with the
people we love. This can also help divert the attention of people who are engaged in vices such
as drug addiction as well as those of the bad elements of the society, because they can focus their
attention to this kind of facility where they can change and start having good and healthy
lifestyle.

A PROPOSED PAWIKAN CENTER: Provision of New Satellite for Additional

Conservation Facilities for Wildlife Marine Mammal Rescue Center

Bataan, being a Peninsula is being surrounded by bodies of water bounded by South

China Sea to the on the West and bordered by Zambales and Pampanga on the North, Subic Bay
on the North-West and Manila Bay on the East.
The proposed project will located at the town of Morong which is found on the NorthEastern seaboard of Bataan. The zone of Morong can serve as a nature preserve or a sanctuary
for wildlife animals living and going to the area. It will serve as a dwelling and conservation of
their lives for them not to be extinct. Not only for the animals protection but also for the balance
of eco system and marine eco system.
Aside to that, it will also be an educational facility and other scientific related issues will
be promoted for biodiversity benefits. The security will be unquestionable so wildlife hunters
could not go near them.
