Preparation

PLAN
1

Week
Before
Exam

By the last week, you

should have prepared
enough to be super good
with your best sections
and a clear cut idea on the
strategies to be followed.

Revise the major topics like

Numbers and Geometry

Last lap should be to

ensure that you build on
your strengths and sharpen
methods to maximise your
scores in the exam.
Repeat the process focused
on strategies alone till you
are confident to apply them.

Revise
the
frequently
repeated patterns which is
bound to repeat for sure in
quant and DI of your papers
also.

Pick up the latest offline

model papers and do a
timed practice. Employ
strategies during this
period and assess your
performance.

On
Day
Of
Exam
Double check if you have
all the documents required
to be carried to the venue.
Your ID proof, hall ticket
etc.

If possible, visit the venue

and figure out the time taken
to reach there beforehand.

Preparation

PLAN

Its recommended not to

carry formula sheets and
books to the venue or
do rote learning of these
in the last moment.
CAT is not a predictable
memory based exam
and such strategies are
not going to help much.
Instead, mentally try to
go through the things
you know.

CAT exam runs on

computer systems which
fetches data from servers
through the network.
Issues are bound to
happen when tests happen
at that scale. So ensure
that you are ready for
such contingencies and
ensure you dont panic.
So be mentally prepared
for this.
