could enjoy the benefits of electricity in their homes powered by the sun.
The solar power plant can generate electricity for running 3 LED lights, 1 ceiling fan and a mobile
charging point in each of the 40,000 rural homes across 19 districts and 1,800 villages. The system
provides a backup of 8 hours a day and autonomy of 72 hours.
Through this project, Su-Kam provided employment and skill enhancement training to about 400 people
at the grass root level.

90 KWp Grid-Tie Solar Power Plant for Engineers India Limited (EIL), Gurgaon
Su-Kam installed a 90 KWp Grid-Tie (Net Metering) Solar Power Plant on the roof top of the R&D building of EIL,
Gurgaon. Even though the area available for installation of the plant on the rooftop was insufficient, Su-Kam did
a detailed engineering analysis and drew out a customized plan to accommodate the plant. This solution met
stringent quality, reliability and functional requirements.
The state-of-the-art Grid Interactive Solar Plant generates over 1.25 lakhs units of electricity per year thereby
helping EIL save over Rs 10 lakh in electricity expenses annualy. This plant powers complete 3 floors of the building.
Moreover, Su-Kam has installed remote monitoring system to track plant performance on a regular basis.

Su-Kam installs Indias first centralized solar street lighting project in Tamil Nadu
Su-Kam has completed the installation for Tamil Nadu Energy Development Agencys (TEDA) centralized street light
project scheme. Through this project Su-Kam has energized 12,000 street lights in village panchayats.
This is first of its kind project in India, as the existing street lights that were powered from grid supply were now
powered with solar energy along with provision for grid charging i.e. battery charges from grid supply only during
cloudy or rainy days. All sites are remotely monitored to ensure proper functioning at distant locations.

Grid-Tie solar power plant at Delhi Jal Board

Su-Kam installed 50 KWp solar Grid-Tie system for Delhi Jal Board (DJB), New Delhi. The installation generates 90,000 units
of electricity per year, resulting in an annual saving of electricity expenses of Rs. 7.2 lacs and a cumulative saving of Rs.1.7
crores over a period of 25 years, given that solar grid-tie system has a long life of 25 years.

40 KWp Solar Power Plant

at Raj Bhawan, Itanagar,
Arunachal Pradesh

Su-Kam commissioned a 40 KWp Solar Power Plant at the Raj

Bhawan in Itanagar, Arunanchal Pradesh. The solar power plant
installed at the Raj Bhawan runs the entire office load and
provides backup for the Governors house.
While space was a constraint, the Su-Kam team customized the
design of the solar plant to create a special structure as per the
area available and successfully commissioned the project.

70 KWp Grid-Tie Solar Power Plant for

National Hydroelectric Power Corporation
(NHPC), Faridabad
Grid-tie solar system on the rooftop of the NHPC building
generates 84,000+ units of electricity per year thereby helping
NHPC save Rs 7 lakhs in electricity expenses annually.
The solar plant installed at NHPC is unique since it is based
on the dead load foundation with interacted grid matrix that
gives huge stability to the structure without having any effect
on the waterproofing of the roof.

Powering 19 Sites of Assam Rifles Ranging from 50 KWp - 100 KWp

One of the landmark projects undertaken by Su-Kam was the Assam Rifles project which required supply,
installation, commissioning and maintenance of off-grid solar power plant across base locations in Manipur,
Nagaland, Tripura, Mizoram and Assam. The solar powered plants supply electricity to the base stations during
daytime and also provide 4-5 hours of backup during night time. The project was successfully executed despite
challenging weather conditions and mountainous terrain.
The solar power plants have helped the military regiment in reducing their diesel consumption by 40%. All the
plants have been installed under the MNRE subsidy scheme as per the Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission
(JNNSM) in India.

Solar Power Systems Installed

in over 39,000 Houses under
the Chief Ministers Green
House Program, Tamil Nadu

Solar Solution for Petrol Pumps

Su-Kam has successfully installed solar solutions at multiple
petrol pumps across India where power from grid was available
for only 8-10 hours in a day and pump owners had to use Diesel
Gensets (DG sets) for power back-up. DG sets have a high fuel
consumption (approx. 1.5 litres per hour) and cause a lot of
noise and air pollution.

Su-Kam has successfully installed solar power systems in over

39,000 houses across 15 districts in Tamil Nadu under the Chief
Ministers Green House program launched by Tamil Nadu Energy
Development Agency (TEDA).

Solar Power Plant for School, Patiala

50 KWp Solar Grid-Tie System at

National Institute of Technical
Teachers Training & Research
(NITTTR), Chandigarh

Su-Kam commissioned the first-of- its- kind solar rooftop

power plant at Shivalik Public School in Patiala, Punjab. This
installation is the first solar grid tied-up project undertaken by
the company in Patiala. The solar power plant is equipped to
handle the complete power load of the school during working
hours reducing the schools dependence on grid power supply to
nearly zero.

50 KWp solar grid-tie system has been installed in the Homi

Bhabha Academic Block at the National Institute of Technical
Teachers Training & Research (NITTTR) in Chandigarh.
The NITTTR building is a 25 year old structure and hence
foundation and module mounting structure was designed on the
dead load concept. This avoided any untoward damage to the
structure of the building or to the water proofing of the roof.

Su-Kam Solarises Health Centers

in Tripura
Su-Kam has enabled many health care centres in Tripura to run
completely on solar energy. Tripura Renewable Energy Development
Agency (TREDA) commissioned Su-Kam to install and maintain 630
KWp off-grid solar systems at 80 primary health care centres (5kWp
each), 13 sub-divisional hospitals (10kWp each) and 4 girls hostel
and district hospitals (25kWp each)
Su-Kam has also installed a 45 KWp capacity Solar power plant in the
Ujjayanta Market Complex, Agartala.

Department - 900 Locations

Solar 100 KWp Installation for

the Assam State Electricity
Board, Assam

The offices of Madhya Pradesh Forest Department (MPFD) are

located in deep and remote areas of the forest where there is
no grid power available. Solar Power Conditioning Units (PCU)
are the only source of power at these sites that helps them stay
connected to the head office.

Su-Kam commissioned an off-grid solar system for the Assam

State Electricity Boards office in Guwahati. The project was
competed in a record time of 30 days with an installed capacity
of 100 KWp with battery backup.

With the installation of Su-Kams Solar PCU, the MPFD now

has clean and green energy available for their remote offices,
chowkies and range offices thus minimizing damage to the
forest and natural resources. The systems have advanced
remote monitoring features to enable monitoring at one
central server in head office.

The installed solar plant provides an interrupted power supply

to two floors of the building and has brought down the
electricity consumption by 25%.
