• Tickets (limited to two per person) are distributed free of charge the day of the show at either
the Delacorte Theater in Central Park—the closest entrances are at 81st Street and Central
Park West, or 79th Street and Fifth Avenue—or at the Public Theater, at 425 Lafayette Street,
just south of Astor Place.
• It’s easiest to get tickets during the first week of performances. After the reviews come out,
the lines generally double in length.
• Though the box office doesn’t open until 1, early birds start lining up at about 6 a.m. (or even
