Product
Description

Sika FastFix -138 TP is a one part, prebatched cementitious bedding

and fixing mortar containing a special blend of cement and carefully
selected aggregates. It is available in concrete grey and black colour.
After mixing with water the dark colour of the black grade, achieved fits
well with road asphalt surfacing.

Substrate Quality

The substrate must be structurally sound and free of all dirt, loose and
friable particles, laitance, oils and grease or other contaminants.

Substrate Preparation

The substrate must be thoroughly predampened but ensure there is no

standing water on the surface prior to application.

Application Method /
Tools

Sika FastFix-138 TP can be mixed manually or

mechanically with concrete mixing equipment.
Place Sika FastFix-138 TP with a dry consistency
when used as a bedding for manhole covers or street
equipment / furniture etc.
Pour in Sika FastFix-138 TP with a plastic consistency
to the road surface level when using to grout in the
manhole covers or street furniture etc.
Sika FastFix-138 TP mixed in a dry consistency can
be vibrated (if required) to assist the placing and
compaction of the material.
Note: The quantity of water may be varied slightly
according to the weather conditions. Hot and dry
conditions may require a little bit more water whilst in
cold and humid conditions a slight water reduction may
be necessary.

Cleaning of Tools

Clean all tools and application equipment with water immediately after use.
Hardened / cured material can only be mechanically removed.
