1. Back fill superheater step

d. The analyzing method of the Eliminox value for inspecting the value received after the treatment.
The Eliminox should not exceed the standard measurement which can affect the aquatic animal and
aquatic ecology.
d. Prepare the plan in case of chemical spill together with safety data sheet (SDS) of each kind of
used chemical.
2. Water flushing step

a. The value of Demin. Used in each loop flushing.

b. The turbidity, conductivity and pH meter are required to show the calibration certificate before
the operation./

c. Concerning about the waste water occurred during the flushing step, what is the measurement in
case that the water color is orange-red or slate grey, ALSCO shall clarify this matter.
d. The value of waste water occurred during the flushing.
3. Alkaline decrease step

a. ALSCO shall inform the parameter analyzing method as specified in the procedure, including
Alkalinity, Phosphate concentrate, Oil content and Silica content.
b. ALSCO was requested to clarify the criteria value which determine the Equilibrium result of
Alkalinity, Phosphate concentrate, Oil content and Silica content for 3 times refer to the 3 invariants
of each parameter, in case that some parameter shows the high value of oil content since the
beginning then the value decrease slightly and stable.

c. ALSCO was requested to clarify the details of the principle of the assessment of analyzed value and
the criterion for the Step 3.3 Alkaline Degreasing is completed.
d. Safety data sheet (SDS) of each used chemical.
e. The value of used Dem in.
f. The value of occurred waste, the preparation of knockdown tank and the waste disposal.

g. The preparation of the emergency plan for the chemical spill.

h. In the duration of rinsing and draining in Work method statement step by step Chemical cleaning

i. ALSCO is requested to clarify the verification process in the duration of inspection using the Visual
Inspection Criteria: Free of Oil and Grease. Additionally, there should have the co-inspection both
before and after the washing process.
4. Alkaline Wash (Condenser+Dearator)

a. The value of used Demin.

b. The value of occurred waste, the knockdown tank and the disposal.
c. ALSCO is requested to clarify the verification process in the duration of inspection using the Visual
Inspection Criteria for Free of Oil and Grease.
**Additional notices**

1. In the chemical cleaning process, only Oil and Grease are strained off. There is no indication of
rust cleaning which acid cleaning is often used. Therefore, ALSCO is not confident to ensure that
there is no rust remained during the installation.
2. The Demineralized water value used in chemical cleaning process was rather high. Thus, the
construction of WTP Block 2 should be finished urgently in order to distribute the water during the
chemical clean process.
3. The contractor should specify the department that is in charge of the waste disposal occurred
from the chemical clean process apparently. In addition, such department must obtain the license
