Answers to Questions on 2520 Prophecy

In answering these questions I would like to convey the statement that this is also my testimony for
believing these truths. Your questions are dealt with as a genuine seeker and are treated as such.
Questions were received by text and some portions were missing.
Question 1: Just an observation I want you to look intothe doctrine of the 2520 revolves around the

interpretations of William Miller exclusively. Consider: He interpreted times for 360 days applying the
day year principle to timeswhich cannot be applied anywhere else in scripture and mak*(some text
missing)
Answer: William Miller was the one chosen by God to herald the first and second angels messages of

Rev. 14: 6-8 (see Early Writings pg. 232 -239) . He was the one Daniel prophesied about in Dan.
12:4.But thou, O Daniel shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall
run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. The time of the end was in 1798 at the end of 1260
years of papal rule or time, times and a half in Dan. 12:7, knowledge of prophecy would be increased
especially of Daniels prophecies. At that appointed time God raised up William Miller, the evidences are
found in the following quotations from the spirit of prophecy.
God sent His angel to move upon the heart of a farmer who had not believed the Bible, to lead him to
search the prophecies. Angels of God repeatedly visited that chosen one, to guide his mind and open to
his understanding prophecies which had ever been dark to God's people. The commencement of the
chain of truth was given to him, and he was led on to search for link after link, until he looked with
wonder and admiration upon the Word of God. He saw there a perfect chain of truth. ,Early Writings
pg.229 par.1} The call of William Miller was an important point in the movement of prophecy, God
selected him at the time of the end to lay the foundation for His people at the end of the world.
God directed the mind of William Miller to the prophecies and gave him great light upon the book of
Revelation. ,Early Writings pg 231 par.1- It could not be Millers sole conclusions as he was directed by
God. To say such is a complete rejection of the spirit of prophecy.
Another point you gave which is of GREAT concern to me was you surprising attack on the day-year
principle. Removing or questioning this principle can only lead to the complete dismantling of
Adventism. Anyone who advocates such must remember that all time prophecies are based on God
giving William Miller this key, which opens the 2300 days prophecy which you claim to stand for. If it is
removed there is no need for the Seventh Day Adventist Church, God would have to raise up another
remnant people. Here is what Ellen White says;.
"AFTER THE NUMBER OF THE DAYS IN WHICH YE SEARCHED THE LAND, EVEN FORTY DAYS, EACH DAY
FOR A YEAR, SHALL YE BEAR YOUR INIQUITIES, EVEN FORTY YEARS." NUMBERS 14:34. A SIMILAR
METHOD OF COMPUTING FUTURE TIME IS INDICATED THROUGH THE PROPHET EZEKIEL. FORTY YEARS
OF PUNISHMENT FOR INIQUITIES AWAITED THE KINGDOM OF JUDAH. THE LORD SAID THROUGH THE

PROPHET: "LIE AGAIN ON THY RIGHT SIDE, AND THOU SHALT BEAR THE INIQUITY OF THE HOUSE OF
JUDAH FORTY DAYS: I HAVE APPOINTED THEE EACH DAY FOR A YEAR." EZEKIEL 4:6. THIS YEAR-DAY
PRINCIPLE HAS AN IMPORTANT APPLICATION IN INTERPRETING THE TIME OF THE PROPHECY OF THE
"TWO THOUSAND AND THREE HUNDRED EVENINGS AND MORNINGS" (DANIEL 8:14, R.V.) AND THE
1260-DAY PERIOD, VARIOUSLY INDICATED AS "A TIME AND TIMES AND THE DIVIDING OF TIME" (DANIEL
7:25), THE "FORTY AND TWO MONTHS" (REVELATION 11:2; 13:5), AND THE "THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED
AND THREESCORE DAYS" (REVELATION 11:3; 12:6). {Great Controversy 681.1}
I would love to hear from you as to a true understanding of that point. As I do not believe you would
have questions regarding the day year principle which God gave to William Miller and handed down to
us.
Another point I would love to relay is that it was God who gave Miller these principles which led to the
creation of the prophetic charts to express the views of the Millerites on their understanding of the
prophetic messages. Ellen White says The commencement of the chain of truth was given to him,
and he was led on to search for link after link, until he looked with wonder and admiration upon the
Word of God. He saw there a perfect chain of truth. ,Early Writings pg.229 par.1-

This is a picture of the top of the 1843 chart. If God gave William Miller the commencement of the
chain of truth, which is 677BC as indicated by the arrow, thenit is fair to say the 2520 prophecy is
correct because from677 to 1843/(1844)AD is 2520 years. In other words he found the 2520 prophecy
before the 2300 years.The Spirit of prophecy says, He saw there a perfect chain of truth, if God say the
2520 prophecy is perfect then why are we painting it as error? Here is what Miller says
From a farther [sic] study of the Scriptures, I concluded that the seven times of Gentile supremacy must
commence when the Jews ceased to be an independent nation at the captivity of Manasseh, which the
best chronologers assigned to B. C. 677; that the 2300 days commenced with the seventy weeks, which
the best chronologers dated from B. C. 457; and that the 1335 days commencing with the taking away
of the daily, and the setting up of the abomination that maketh desolate, [Dan.xii,11,] were to be dated
from the setting up of the Papal supremacy, after the taking away of Pagan abominations, and which,
according to the best historians I could consult, should be dated from about A. D. 508. {Advent Review
& Sabbath Herald, April 18, 1854, p. 98}

It is also important to note that the spirit of prophecy endorses the chart. Here is the evidence.

I have seen that the 1843 chart was directed by the hand of the Lord, and that it should not be
altered; that the figures were as He wanted them; that His hand was over and hid a mistake in some of
the figures, so that none could see it, until His hand was removed. ,Early Writings pg. 74, par.1If God endorses the chart (important phrases underline), and almost the entire Adventist church
denounces it something must be wrong that warrants careful and diligent scrutiny. Thats why I took my
stand regardless of the consequence as long as God endorses the 2520 prophecy.

Question 2: There is nowhere in scripture that relates to a 2520. A doctrine should not be base on one
passagethats a dogmatic approach.
Answer: This prophecy is laden in scripture. 7 times in Lev. 26 or the blessings and curses, the scattering
of Gods people has been prophesied by Moses in Duet. Chapters 27 & 28 in his farewell warnings to the
children of Israel. The prophecy is the same, lets compare scriptures;Deu 28:22 The LORD shall smite thee with a consumption, and with a fever, and with an inflammation,
and with an extreme burning, and with the sword, and with blasting, and with mildew; and they
shall pursue thee until thou perish.
Lev 26:16 I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning
ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for
your enemies shall eat it.
It is the same prophecy in the bible margin the passages go back to Lev. 26. Here are others and you can
read the chapters and compare them with Lev. 26.;
Deu 28:23 And thy heaven that is over thy head shall be brass, and the earth that is under thee shall be
iron.
Lev 26:19 And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth
as brass:
Deu 28:25 The LORD shall cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies: thou shalt go out one way
against them, and flee seven ways before them: and shalt be removed into all the kingdoms of the
earth.
Lev 26:33 And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land
shall be desolate, and your cities waste.
The Lord scatter the children of Israel into the kingdoms of the earth (2520 prophecy), there is no
shortness of scripture proof of that history. Daniels prophecies (Dan.2) are sacred histories as Israel
refused to keep the covenant with Jehovah and were scattered among the kingdoms of the earth
(Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece & Rome). In Dan. 9, he states;

Dan 9:11 Yea, all Israel have transgressed thy law, even by departing, that they might not obey thy
voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the
servant of God, because we have sinned against him.
Dan 9:12 And he hath confirmed his words, which he spake against us, and against our judges that
judged us, by bringing upon us a great evil: for under the whole heaven hath not been done as hath
been done upon Jerusalem.
Dan 9:13 As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer
before the LORD our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth.
Dan 9:14 Therefore hath the LORD watched upon the evil, and brought it upon us: for the LORD our
God is righteous in all his works which he doeth: for we obeyed not his voice.
It is impossible for anyone to study these truths and not see what transpired throughout history with
the children of Israel. All the prophecies of Old and New Testament are faithful records of the 2520
curses because the children of Israel disobeyed God. Until 1844...the scattering completed Gods
prophet confirm the 2520 was at an end. Here is what Ellen White says;
September 23, the Lord showed me that He had stretched out His hand the second time to recover
the remnant of His people, [SEE PAGE 86.] and that efforts must be redoubled in this gathering time. In
the scattering, Israel was smitten and torn, but now in the gathering time God will heal and bind up His
people. In the scattering, efforts made to spread the truth had but little effect, accomplished but little
or nothing; but in the gathering, when God has set His hand to gather His people, efforts to spread the
truth will have their designed effect. Early Writings pg. 74
Question 3: There is no scriptural evidence that can honestly used to outline a starting point for a 2520.
Answer: William Miller outlined the starting point and the reason, heres what he concluded;
From a farther *sic+ study of the Scriptures, I concluded that the seven times of Gentile supremacy
must commence when the Jews ceased to be an independent nation at the captivity of Manasseh,
which the best chronologers assigned to B. C. 677; that the 2300 days commenced with the seventy
weeks, which the best chronologers dated from B. C. 457; and that the 1335 days commencing with the
taking away of the daily, and the setting up of the abomination that maketh desolate, [Dan.xii,11,] were
to be dated from the setting up of the Papal supremacy, after the taking away of Pagan abominations,
and which, according to the best historians I could consult, should be dated from about A. D. 508.
{Advent Review & Sabbath Herald, April 18, 1854, p. 98}
When, then, may we not ask, did the bondage of the children of God begin? I answer, when LITERAL
BABYLON began to exercise authority over them. In the twenty-second year of Manassehs reign, in the
year before Christ 677, the last of the 10 tribes were carried away, and Israel ceased to be a nation
according to the prophecy... William Miller, A TRILOGY pages 20-22
The reason for this conclusion was according to this passage;..Lev 26:19 And I will break the pride of
your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass: The pride of Israels power
was their kings.
Millers second witness for this prophecy was Isaiah 7:8,9For the head of Syria is Damascus, and the
head of Damascus is Rezin; and within threescore and five years shall Ephraim be broken, that it be not a

people. And the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliah's son. If ye will not
believe, surely ye shall not be established.
William Miller:
Isaiah prophesied that within sixty-five years Ephraim should be broken and be not a people. Is.vii..8.
This was in the days of Pekah and Rezin, 742 years before Christ.
Sixty-five years afterwards, BC 677, Esarhaddon, king of Assyria and Babylon, came with a large army
into the land of Israel and Judah, carried away the last remnant of Israel, and they have not been a
nation since. Then he also made war against Jerusalem, took Manasseh and carried him to Babylon;
which begins the seven times
Judah was to be in bondage to the kings of the earth, and also the seven years Israel should be a
captive, robbed and spoiled people; both beginning and ending at one time, 2520 years, beginning BC
677, ending AD 1843. To 1843 add 677, and the sum equals 2520. Millers Works, vol. 1, 80

Sixty-five years from Isaiahs prophecy (742BC) Ephraim was broken. 46 yrs between the scatterings of
the two tribes 723BC for the northern tribes and 677BC for the southern tribes. Also 46yrs between the
endings of the two 2520s (1798-1844). 19yrs from the prophecy of Isa. 7:8,9 to the first tribes been
scattered in 723BC. Also 19yrs 1844AD to 1863AD, when the Seventh Day Adventist church was
organized. Im in awe as I see how Jesus uses numeric perfectly in the parallels.
Question 4: This new doctrine does not complement the concept of continuous evangelism.base on
the tarrying time you mentioned.while people are dying daily in sin
Answer: Let me first state that it is a lie, and very deceptive for the church to be teaching that the 2520
prophecy is new. It is over 170 yrs since the 1843 chart was made and I have seen a picture of it on
display at the General Conference, stating it as the foundation of Adventism. I also heard it is at
Northern Caribbean University....the sad state we are in as shown, we have forgotten our foundation.
Ellen White declares;

As early as 1842 the direction given in this prophecy to "write the vision, and make it plain upon tables,
that he may run that readeth it," (Hab. 2:1-4) had suggested to Charles Fitch the preparation of a
prophetic chart to illustrate the visions of Daniel and the Revelation. (This is referring to the 1843 Chart)
The publication of this chart was regarded as a fulfillment of the command given by Habakkuk. ,Great
Controversy pg. 392 par.2}
If inspiration declares that the chart was a fulfillment of Habakkuk vision, why is the church denouncing
it as error? (THIS IS REJECTION OF THE BIBLE). And the 2520 prophecy is on the chart which God
endorses in the bible and the spirit of prophecy.
The Three Angels' Messages.--The proclamation of the first, second, and third angels' messages has
been located by the word of Inspiration. Not a peg or pin is to be removed. No human authority has any
more right to change the location of these messages than to substitute the New Testament for the
Old..The first and second messages were given in 1843 and 1844, and we are now under the
proclamation of the third; but all three of the messages are still to be proclaimed. It is just as essential
now as ever before that they shall be repeated to those who are seeking for the truth. By pen and voice
we are to sound the proclamation, showing their order, and the application of the prophecies that bring
us to the third angel's message. There cannot be a third without the first and second. These messages
we are to give to the world in publications, in discourses, showing in the line of prophetic history the
things that have been, and the things that will be.--Manuscript 32, 1896. {Counsels to Writers and
Editors pg. 26 par 2}
In regards to the tarry time, my point was that we have entered into a time of preparation (tarry time).
The Millerites knew they were fulfilling the parable of the 10 virgins and so are we. The greatest public
evangelism is about to go forth, the loud cry of the third angels message at the Sunday law, shouldnt
Gods people be preparing for that event by getting OIL. The bridegroom has tarried but we should be
like the wise virgins, the message is for Adventists to be ready so when the cry goes forth, we can trim
our lamps. God will gather His people from the other churches but Judgment must begin at the house of
Israel first.
Our hopes now centered on the coming of the Lord in 1844. This was also the time for the message of
the second angel, who, flying through the midst of heaven, cried, "Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great
city." Revelation 14:8. That message was first proclaimed by the servants of God in the summer of 1844.
As a result, many left the fallen churches. In connection with this message the "midnight cry" [SEE
MATTHEW 25:1-13.] was given: "Behold, the Bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet Him." In every part
of the land light was given concerning this message, and the cry aroused thousands. It went from city to
city, from village to village, and into the remote country regions. It reached the learned and talented, as
well as the obscure and humble. ,CET 50.4The unchangeableness of God should be clearly seen; the similarity of his dealings with his people of
the past dispensation and of the present, should be studied. Under the inspiration of the Spirit of God,
Solomon wrote, "That which hath been is now: and that which is to be hath already been; and God
requireth that which is past." In mercy God repeats his past dealings. He has given us a record of his
dealings in the past. This we need to study carefully; for history is repeating itself. {RH, April 20, 1897
par. 14}.
This quotation shows that God is repeating history in our days, for His dealings with men is the same.
Question 5: If the 2520 was so importantand salvivic why Ellen white didnt make mention of it.

Answer: She did mention it, here what she wrote; .Moses traced the evils that would result from a
departure from the statutes of Jehovah. Calling heaven and earth to witness, he declared that if, after
having dwelt long in the Land of Promise, the people should introduce corrupt forms of worship and
bow down to graven images and should refuse to return to the worship of the true God, the anger of the
Lord would be aroused, and they would be carried away captive and scattered among the heathen. "Ye
shall soon utterly perish from off the land whereunto ye go over Jordan to possess it," he warned them;
"ye shall not prolong your days upon it, but shall utterly be destroyed. And the Lord shall scatter you
among the nations, and ye shall be left few in number among the heathen, whither the Lord shall lead
you. And there ye shall serve gods, the work of men's hands, wood and stone, which neither see, nor
hear, nor eat, nor smell." Duet. 4:26-28.

This prophecy, fulfilled in part in the time of the judges, met a more complete and literal fulfillment
in the captivity of Israel in Assyria and of Judah in Babylon. Prophets and Kings pg. 295
The spirit of prophecy says THIS PROPHECY, who are we to say it is not a prophecy?...Im trying to
understand that many think a prophecy must have a figure, like the 2300 days. But prophecy is history in
advance also the first prophecy we know is Gen. 3:15didnt give a figure!!...But all Adventism accept it
as a prophecy in the controversy with Christ and Satan.
Question 6: Is the SDA church still the remnant or the pre organized pioneers or the off-shoot groups?
Thats the debate around nowbecaz the remnant has a mission?
Answer: I have never known one person who believes in the 2520 prophecy, who doesnt believe that
the SDA church is the remnant of bible prophecy or call the church Babylon. Call the church Babylon
would not be consistent with Rev. 17 prophecies. To be truthful, it is those who dont believe it (the
greater majority) who hurled all these accusations, persecute and disfellowship the few who believes.
The greatest off-shoot, and hypocrite is the General Conference for rejecting its very foundation. The
SDA church mission is to preach the 1st, 2nd and 3rd angel messages of Rev. 14. Look at this, the 1st
message arrived 1798, the 2nd arrives April 19, 1844and the 3rd arrives October 22, 1844. William Miller
and his associates are the angels (messengers) of the 1st & 2nd and SDA the angels (messengers) of the
3rd Message. If we are to preach all 3, how have we rejected Miller (1st & 2nd messages), calling him offshoot, and discarded the prophetic principles God gave him. Most Adventists dont have a clue who
William Miller is and the importance of that time period. Arent we guilty of apostasy and due judgment
for changing the order of God like the Jews? Here is what Ellen White says ;
Landmarks of Truth, Experience, and Duty.-- Messages of every order and kind have been urged upon
Seventh-day Adventists, to take the place of the truth which, point by point, has been sought out by
prayerful study, and testified to by the miracle-working power of the Lord. But the waymarks which
have made us what we are, are to be preserved, and they will be preserved, as God has signified
through His word and the testimony of His Spirit. He calls upon us to hold firmly, with the grip of faith, to
the fundamental principles that are based upon unquestionable authority.--Special Testimonies, Series
B, No. 2, p. 59. (1904.)
The burden of the warning now to come to the people of God, nigh and afar off, is the third angel's
message. And those who are seeking to understand this message will not be led by the Lord to make an
application of the Word that will undermine the foundation and remove the pillars of the faith that has
made Seventh-day Adventists what they are today. The truths that have been unfolding in their order,
as we have advanced along the line of prophecy revealed in the Word of God, are truth, sacred, eternal

truth today. Those who passed over the ground step by step in the past history of our experience, seeing
the chain of truth in the prophecies, were prepared to accept and obey every ray of light. {2Selected
Messages pg. 102.4}
It is the Millerite historythat made us Seventh Day Adventist.
That which the Holy Spirit testified to as truth after the passing of the time, in our great disappointment,
is the solid foundation of truth. Pillars of truth were revealed, and we accepted the foundation
principles that have made us what we are--Seventh-day Adventists, keeping the commandments of God
and having the faith of Jesus. {NYI, February 7, 1906 par. 4}
By pen and voice
we are to sound the proclamation, showing their order, and the application of the prophecies that bring

things that have been, and the things that will be.--Manuscript 32, 1896. {Counsels to Writers and
Editors pg. 26 par 2}
If the conferences are denying the 1st & 2nd angels messageshow can we be right with God? We cannot
preach the 3rd without the 2 former messages. Like the Jews history is repeating. And God is turning to
the remnant (144,000), within Adventism not any off-shoot, splinter group to finish the work. He did it
with John the Baptist, the disciples and now at the end of the world. God did not say that the structure
or buildings is His church as many put it.His people who obey the truth (3 angels messages) is the
church. Rev. 12:17 warns of the emergency at the end of the worldthe remnant emerges from the
continued conflict with satan, keeping the commandments of Godand still believing the Spirit of
prophecy. At the recent General Conference session changes were made that is detrimental to the
remnant of Adventism. Ellen White writings are no longer authoritative and because of the womens
ordination issues, changes were made in the bibles account of holy men of God spake (1 Pet. 1:21),
inserting that its inappropriate due to gender base inequality. Arent we afraid of the threatening of
God to remove our names from the book of life for changing His word? (Rev. 22:18,19) You are a pastor
so you should be aware of these changes. Im not ignorant of the attacks of the devil and other
infiltrators on Gods SDA church, we have removed all the foundation principles that God have given our
pioneers and are only playing lip service that we believe them. God is now bringing the 144000 together
to be His united structure with the message that he sent at 9/11 (Rev.18:1-3..see also Life Sketches of
Ellen White pg. 411, 412), which his people has generally rejected, to finish the work. This is the reason
why the history of the Millerites, prophetic charts, 2520 are coming back up (Jer. 6:16,17; Isa. 58:12),
for Jesus cannot come until the foundation is restored. Pray that we be a part of its proclamation.
Question 7: The interpretation of 7 times cannot be verified by the original language to be rendered as
2520as used in other prophecies Dan 4 and Rev. 12?

Answer: The original language, whether Hebrew or Greek is not the authority for understanding and
concluding prophetic interpretations. God has given principles for us to unlock the prophecies and
fundamentally, the bible is its own interpreter. We should use the Hebrew and Greek to assist in
understanding the meaning of words as we seek to understand their context, and it has been useful to
me, just as a dictionary to the English language but that alone is insufficient to master the language. It
has become a man-made law that ONLY those who are Hebrew/Greek scholars can understand the
bible, which would lead us back to the dark ages where only the clergy could promote its pages. It blows
my mind to know the way SDA ministers are trained. In 2001 all the Adventist ministers in our
seminaries worldwide are required to be trained in spiritual formation, which is the spiritual exercises of
Ignatius Loyola, the first Jesuit general. Textual criticism, exegesis, hermeneutics, eisegesis are manmade principles which God does not endorse but were adopted by our leaders after 1844, its baleful
fruitage can account for the many apostasies from Adventism. One of such is John Harvey Kellogg when
he promoted spiritualistic views of the nature of God in his book, The Living Temple. Ellen White
warns that it was the alpha of apostasy and the omega would follow. Even Ted Wilson spoke against
spiritual formation but has done nothing to stem the renegades. God has made it simple so even those
that are relative fishermen can know the deep things of His words. Isa.28:13 teach a foundational
principle, precept upon precept, line upon line, here a little there a little, throughout the centuries has
furnished the humblest of Gods followers the key to understanding the pages of holy writ. William
Miller was no different and from his proof text based method of prophetic exposition has given the
church a legacy of fourteen principles endorsed by the spirit of prophecy that the majority of Adventists
today have no knowledge abouthere is the quotation (Ellen White list five of the principles);
Those who are engaged in proclaiming the third angel's message are searching the Scriptures upon the
same plan that Father Miller adopted. In the little book entitled "Views of the Prophecies and Prophetic
Chronology," Father Miller gives the following simple but intelligent and important rules for Bible study
and interpretation:-- {Review & Herald, November 25, 1884 par. 23}
"1. Every word must have its proper bearing on the subject presented in the Bible; 2. All Scripture is
necessary, and may be understood by diligent application and study; 3. Nothing revealed in Scripture
can or will be hid from those who ask in faith, not wavering; 4. To understand doctrine, bring all the
scriptures together on the subject you wish to know, then let every word have its proper influence; and
if you can form your theory without a contradiction, you cannot be in error; 5. Scripture must be its own
expositor, since it is a rule of itself. If I depend on a teacher to expound to me, and he should guess at its
meaning, or desire to have it so on account of his sectarian creed, or to be thought wise, then his
guessing, desire, creed, or wisdom is my rule, and not the Bible." {Review & Herald, November 25, 1884
par. 24}
The above is a portion of these rules; and in our study of the Bible we shall all do well to heed the
principles set forth. {Review & Herald, November 25, 1884 par. 25}
The question is who gives the authority to decide what prophecy is or not.whether noun, or adverb. It
is God who decides and He relay his messages through His prophets and it should do well for us to heed
their councils.
Question 8: Is it possible that the 2520 was one of mistake that Ellen White spoke about that was on the
chart?
Answer: Lets look at the quotation;I have seen that the 1843 chart was directed by the hand of the
Lord, and that it should not be altered; that the figures were as He wanted them; that His hand was over

and hid a mistake in some of the figures, so that none could see it, until His hand was removed. ,Early
Writings pg. 74.1}
The mistake on this chart was not the 2520 prophecy as the Lord explained it in Early Writings page
236;The hand of the Lord was removed from the figures, and the mistake was explained. They saw
that the prophetic periods reached to 1844, and that the same evidence which they had presented to
show that the prophetic periods closed in 1843, proved that they would terminate in 1844. Light from
the Word of God shone upon their position, and they discovered a tarrying time--"Though it [the vision]
tarry, wait for it." In their love for Christ's immediate coming, they had overlooked the tarrying of the
vision, which was calculated to manifest the true waiting ones.

A (singular) mistake in some of the figures, as shown by the arrows, they did not account for the full year
at the calculation of the 2300 days prophecy, instead of spring (April 19, 1843) would terminate in
autumn (October 22, 1844), this was why God gave direction for a new chart in 1850 to correct that
mistake but only inspiration could authorized the change.
I saw that the truth should be made plain upon tables, that the earth and the fullness thereof is the
Lord's, and that necessary means should not be spared to make it plain. I saw that the old chart was
directed by the Lord, and that not a figure of it should be altered except by inspiration. I saw that the
figures of the chart were as God would have them, and that His hand was over and hid a mistake in
some of the figures, so that none should see it till His hand was removed.,Spalding and Magan pg. 1 Par

I saw the chart-making business was all wrong. It originated with Brother Rhodes and was followed out
by Brother Case. Means has been spent in making charts and forming uncouth disgusting images to
represent angels and the glorious Jesus. Such things I saw were displeasing to God. I saw that God was in
the publishment of the chart by Brother Nichols (This is referring to the 1850 chart). I saw that there was
a prophecy of this chart in the Bible, and if this chart is designed for God's people, if it [is] sufficient for
one it is for another, and if one needed a new chart painted on a larger scale, all need it just as muchI
saw that the charts ordered by God struck the mind favorably, even without an explanation. There is
something light, lovely, and heavenly in the representation of the angels on the charts. The mind is
almost imperceptibly led to God and heaven. But the other charts that have been gotten up disgust the
mind, and cause the mind to dwell more on earth than heaven. Images representing angels look more
like fiends than beings of heaven. ,13 Manuscript Releases pg. 359 par.1-3}
As early as 1842 the direction given in this prophecy to "write the vision, and make it plain upon tables,
that he may run that readeth it," (Hab. 2:1-4) had suggested to Charles Fitch the preparation of a

prophetic chart to illustrate the visions of Daniel and the Revelation.(This is referring to the 1843 Chart)
The publication of this chart was regarded as a fulfillment of the command given by Habakkuk. ,Great
Controversy pg. 392 par.2}. God gave ancient Israel the two tables of stone, which contains the Ten
Commandments, confirming the covenant. He now gives to modern Israel two tables, the 1843 & 1850
charts which also bind us in a covenant with Him.
God was very specific in this matter.a mistake (singular 1843) in some of the figures, only two
prophecies were affected, 2300 & 2520 (plural- figures). Im tempted to ask, if God says the charts
should not to be altered.Why are they thrown out of the church,why are those who study them
called off-shoot & are disfellowshipped ?..Isnt this open apostasy, on the part of the conferences?
The Lord has declared that the history of the past shall be rehearsed as we enter upon the closing work.
Every truth that He has given for these last days is to be proclaimed to the world. Every pillar that He has
established is to be strengthened. We cannot now step off the foundation that God has established. We
cannot now enter into any new organization; for this would mean apostasy from the truth.--Manuscript
129, 1905. {2Selected Messages 390.1} This is exactly what has taken place-there is a new organization.
The remnant must now be faithful to the true foundationwhen was it lay?
The warning has come: Nothing is to be allowed to come in that will disturb the foundation of the faith
upon which we have been building ever since the message came in 1842, 1843, and 1844. I was in this
message, and ever since I have been standing before the world, true to the light that God has given us.
We do not propose to take our feet off the platform on which they were placed as day by day we sought
the Lord with earnest prayer, seeking for light. Do you think that I could give up the light that God has
given me? It is to be as the Rock of Ages. It has been guiding me ever since it was given {GC Bulletin,
April 6, 1903 par. 35}
All the messages given from 1840-1844 are to be made forcible now, for there are many people who
have lost their bearings. The messages are to go to all the churches. {21MR 437.1}
Ellen White was a Millerite and all of them accepted the 2520. If it was wrong she would have say so.
Question 9: The doctrine of the 2520 is not Christocentricit is more divisive in nature than
complementary to any other doctrine in scripture? Or its proponent makes it so
Answer: Look again on both the 1843 and 1850 charts, the pioneers of Adventism put the cross of Christ
in the center of the prophecies thereon; indicating their firm belief in the atonement and the work of
Christ in their behalf in the sanctuary aboveand looking for His glorious appearing. The reason why
division is there stems from the removal of the charts by the leaders in Adventism over the years, that
we now see the 2520 as error when it was a part of our foundation messages. The clergy is seeking to
blame the laity for the compounding problems they createdeven to the omega of apostasy or the
new theology in the 1950s with Leroy Froom, Ruben R. Figuhr (GC President) and Roy A. Anderson (see
the book Our Evangelical Earthquake by Vance Ferrell). The Laity cannot affect the church because we
dont lead; you are the ones who must take responsibility for the demise of spirituality in the churches.
Ellen White saw it and gave the prophecy;

In a vision of the night I was shown distinctly that these sentiments have been looked upon by some as
the grand truths that are to be brought in and made prominent at the present time. I was shown a
platform, braced by solid timbers--the truths of the Word of God. Some one high in responsibility in the
medical work (John H. Kellogg) was directing this man and that man to loosen the timbers supporting
this platform. Then I heard a voice saying, "Where are the watchmen that ought to be standing on the
walls of Zion? Are they asleep? This foundation was built by the Master Worker, and will stand storm
and tempest. Will they permit this man to present doctrines that deny the past experience of the people
of God? The time has come to take decided action." {1Selected Messages pg. 204.1}
The enemy of souls has sought to bring in the supposition that a great reformation was to take place
among Seventh-day Adventists,(new theology-omega of apostasy) and that this reformation would
consist in giving up the doctrines which stand as the pillars of our faith, (Millers teachings including
day/year principle, 2520 etc..) and engaging in a process of reorganization. Were this reformation to
take place, what would result? The principles of truth that God in His wisdom has given to the remnant
church, would be discarded. Our religion would be changed. The fundamental principles that have
sustained the work for the last fifty years would be accounted as error. A new organization would be
established. Books of a new order (Question on Doctrine, Church Manual etc..) would be written. A
system of intellectual philosophy (Doctor of Divinity etc..) would be introduced. The founders of this
system would go into the cities, and do a wonderful work. The Sabbath of course, would be lightly
regarded, as also the God who created it. Nothing would be allowed to stand in the way of the new
movement. The leaders would teach that virtue is better than vice, but God being removed, they would
place their dependence on human power, which, without God, is worthless. Their foundation would be
built on the sand, and storm and tempest would sweep away the structure. {1 Selected Messages pg.
204.2}
Who has authority to begin such a movement? We have our Bibles. We have our experience, attested
to by the miraculous working of the Holy Spirit. We have a truth that admits of no compromise. Shall we
not repudiate everything that is not in harmony with this truth? {1 Selected Messages pg. 205.1}
Every time I read that vision I weep in my heart and tremble. The number of Adventists who have and
shall perish as a result of the current apostasy, which will go to the Sunday laws, only Gods judgment
can account. No one in leadership has taken any responsibility for the demise, M.L. Andreasen stood up
but could not turn the tide, and he died as a result of the apostasy. I must say that your questionings is a
sure result of the complete change of Adventism today.
But has God done anything or was He aware? Or what has happened?...Since 1989 at the fulfillment of
Dan. 11:40..with the fall of communism, the king of the north (the Papacy), with America fulfilled
prophecy. God raised up Jeff Pippenger, who wrote the Time of End Magazine with present truth of
Daniels prophecies (see his videos on YouTube). God is preparing the remnant, just like in the time of
Christhistory has been repeated.
Question 10: Those who dont know or accept the doctrine of the 2520 will they be saved? Or is it only
those who accept it will be saved? What determine who is saved?

Answer: The same way an Adventist answers a Sunday keeper when ask similar questions about
accepting the Sabbath, is appliedwe cant accept what we want and reject what we please, its all or
nothing. Let me say, a man is saved by grace through faith (Eph. 2: 8,9) & faith comes by hearing the
word (Rom. 10:17). If we refuse the word well be lost.
Prophecy the Foundation of Our Faith.--Ministers should present the sure word of prophecy as the
foundation of the faith of Seventh-day Adventists. The prophecies of Daniel and the Revelation should
be carefully studied, and in connection with them the words, "Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh
away the sin of the world." {Evangelism pg. 196.2}
This is why God raised up the Seventh Day Adventist Church. If we refuse, how shall we be saved?
Question 11: Why is it that all other time prophecies/prophetic periods in scripture are clearly outlined
2300 days, 70 weeks, 1290 days, 1335 days, 70 yearsDan. 4:25 7 times pass over you. Dan 7:25 a
time, times & dividing of time. Rev. 12:6, 1260 days. Rev. 12:14 a time & times & half a time. Rev. 11:2,3
42 months, 1260 days.
Answer: All of these prophecies you mentioned was unearthed by one man, William Miller using the
day- year principle. If you accept Dan. 7:25 (time, times & a half) to be 1260 years, it is the same
principle been applied to the 2520 prophecy (360 x 7 times). It was God who gave Miller the prophecies
which was dark to His people after 1798 so if you cant see the 2520 maybe you need to ask God to open
you spiritual eye sight.
He saw there a perfect chain of truth. ,Early Writings
pg.229 par.1}
Be reminded, God rejected the protestant churches in 1843/44 for rejecting His message (1st Angel
Message) given by His servant William Miller, when he preached the prophecies including the 2520. The
2nd message declared their fall, from then on God never worked with them again, He separated a
remnant (which became the SDA Church). If we are doing the same things they did, wouldnt it call forth
the same results.and that is exactly what is happening in Adventism, there is a shaking over William
Millers teachings and God is looking for a remnant (144,000) to fulfill the loud cry.
Question 12: If William Millers interpretation of 7 times is used in relation to Nebuchadnezzar he would
have lost his sanity for 2520 years instead of 2520 days.
Answer: Let me let William Miller himself answer you on that matter himself;."Seven times," in
Nebuchadnezzar's dream, was fulfilled in seven years. Nebuchadnezzar, for his pride and arrogancy
against God, was driven among the beasts of the field, and was made to eat grass as oxen, until seven
times passed over him, and until he learned that the Most High ruled in the kingdoms of men, and gave

it to whomsoever he would. This being a matter of history, and as an allegory or sample to the people of
God for their pride and arrogancy, in refusing to be reformed by God, and claiming the power and will to
do these things themselves,they, too, like Nebuchadnezzar, must be driven among the beasts of the
field, (meaning the kingdoms of the world,) until they learn the sovereignty of God, and that he
dispenses his favors to whomsoever he will. That, being a matter of history, and a sample only, was
fulfilled in seven years; but this, being a prophecy, will only be fulfilled in seven prophetic times, which
will be 7 times 360 years, which will make 2520 years; Millers work Volume 2, pg. 261
Question 13: In Lev. 26:18 God said he would punish Israel 7 times more. In Lev. 26:21 bring 7 times
more plaques. In Lev. 26: 24 He will punish you yet 7 times & in Lev. 26:28 chastise you 7 times. If these
statements are prophetic God would have punish Israel 7 (times) x 4 equal to 28 yrs or 10,080 yrs. Four
consecutive punishments. If it starts in 722BC it would end in 9358AD or if it starts in 605BC it will end in
9475AD or if it starts in 642BC (Manasseh) it would end in 9438AD. So our punishment does not start yet
because only 1293 years have gone already.
Answer: None of the Millerites believed it was 4 separate 7 timesThey all believed in one punishment
or scattering of Gods people, which was demonstrated on the charts they created. And since the
kingdom was slit in 2there was also two 2520 of the same punishment, 723BC to 1798 for the
Northern Tribes and 677BC to 1844 for the Southern Tribes. As William Miller was lead to the later,
Hiram Edson the former.
God saw fit to make know to Pharaoh the seven years of famine by a repetition of dreams, which
Joseph dared to tell the monarch were one and, in explanation, adds-And for that the dream was
doubled unto Pharaoh twice, it is because the thing is established of God, and God will shortly bring it to
pass. Gen. 41:32. We accept also the many times in scripture where the 1260, 42 months or Time,
times and a half is mentioned yet we accept to it been one prophecy. In Rev. 20, the 1000 years was
mentioned 5 times but we accept it to be one time period.
All these questions were answered by the millerites in that time period when they were ridiculed for
their beliefs, its all a repetition of events here at the end of the world. But God established the Advent
believers with the fulfillment of their predictions, one of which happened August 11, 1840; Lets see the
record from the spirit of prophecy;. In the year 1840, another remarkable fulfillment of prophecy
excited widespread interest. Two years before, Josiah Litch, one of the leading ministers preaching the
second advent, published an exposition of Revelation 9, predicting the fall of the Ottoman empire, and
specifying not only the year but the very day on which this would take place. According to this
exposition, which was purely a matter of calculation on the prophetic periods of Scripture, the Turkish
government would surrender its independence on the eleventh day of August, 1840. The prediction was
widely published, and thousands watched the course of events with eager interest. {Great Controversy
1888 version pg. 334.4}
At the very time specified, Turkey, through her ambassadors, accepted the protection of the allied
powers of Europe, and thus placed herself under the control of Christian nations. The event exactly
fulfilled the prediction. When it became known, multitudes were convinced of the correctness of the

principles of prophetic interpretation adopted by Miller and his associates, and a wonderful impetus was
given to the Advent movement. Men of learning and position united with Miller, both in preaching and
publishing his views, and from 1840 to 1844 the work rapidly extended. {Great Controversy 1888
version pg. 334.5}
It was recorded that about 1000 atheist were converted and joined the Millerite movement, yet I have
never heard any preacher in the church even mention such accurate fulfillment of Josiah Litchs
prediction. Yet the spirit of prophecy admonishes us;
Early Workers to Speak.--God has given me light regarding our periodicals. What is it?--He has said that
the dead are to speak. How?--Their works shall follow them. We are to repeat the words of the pioneers
in our work, who knew what it cost to search for the truth as for hidden treasure, and who labored to
lay the foundation of our work. They moved forward step by step under the influence of the Spirit of
God. One by one these pioneers are passing away. The word given me is, Let that which these men have
written in the past be reproduced. And in the Signs of the Times let not the articles be long or the print
fine. Do not try to crowd everything into one number of the paper. Let the print be good, and let
earnest, living experiences be put into the paper. {Counsels to Writers & Editors pg. 28.1}
Let Pioneers Identify Truth.--When the power of God testifies as to what is truth, that truth is to stand
forever as the truth. No after suppositions, contrary to the light God has given are to be entertained.
Men will arise with interpretations of Scripture which are to them truth, but which are not truth. The
truth for this time, God has given us as a foundation for our faith. He Himself has taught us what is truth.
One will arise, and still another, with new light which contradicts the light that God has given under the
demonstration of His Holy Spirit. {Counsels to Writers & Editors pg. 31.2}
Are we heeding these counsels today? I hope that you have been positively impacted by my answers
and hope youll look into these things seriously, as I did for God will not be treated with impunity having
placed these truths into our reach, our decision for or against will decide our eternal destiny.
I leave with you a prophecy from the spirit of prophecy as to what is happening right now regarding the
2520 prophecy;.. There is to be in the *Seventh-day Adventist] churches a wonderful manifestation of
the power of God, but it will not move upon those who have not humbled themselves before the Lord,
and opened the door of the heart by confession and repentance. In the manifestation of that
power which lightens the earth with the glory of God, they will see only something which in their
blindness they think dangerous, something which will arouse their fears, and they will brace themselves
to resist it. Because the Lord does not work according to their ideas and expectations they will oppose
the work. "Why," they say, "should we not know the Spirit of God, when we have been in the work so
many years?"--RH Extra, Dec. 23, 1890. {Last Day Events pg. 209.3}
The third angel's message will not be comprehended, the light which will lighten the earth with its
glory will be called a false light, by those who refuse to walk in its advancing glory.--RH May 27, 1890.
{Last Day Events pg. 210.1}

Many who hear the message--by far the greatest number--will not credit the solemn warning. Many will
be found disloyal to the commandments of God, which are a test of character. The Lord's servants will
be called enthusiasts. Ministers will warn the people not to listen to them. Noah received the same
treatment while the Spirit of God was urging him to give the message, whether men would hear or
whether they would forbear.--TM 233 (1895). {Last Day Events pg. 210.2}
It is a fact that we have the truth, and we must hold with tenacity to the positions that cannot be
shaken; but we must not look with suspicion upon any new light which God may send, and say, Really,
we cannot see that we need any more light than the old truth which we have hitherto received, and in
which we are settled. {Review & Herald, August 7, 1894 par. 2}
May God be merciful to us!!.

One mistake leads to another. Our brethren must learn to move intelligently and not from impulse.
Feeling must not be the criterion. A neglect of duty, the indulgence of undue sympathy, will be followed
by a neglect to properly estimate those who are laboring to build up the cause of God. Jesus said: "I am
come in My Father's name, and ye receive Me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will
receive." {5T 298.1}
Many do not look upon preaching as Christ's appointed means of instructing His people and therefore
always to be highly prized. They do not feel that the sermon is the word of the Lord to them and
estimate it by the value of the truths spoken; but they judge it as they would the speech of a lawyer at
the bar--by the argumentative skill displayed and the power and beauty of the language. The minister is
not infallible, but God has honored him by making him His messenger. If you listen to him as though he
were not commissioned from above you will not respect his words nor receive them as the message of
God. Your souls will not feed upon the heavenly manna; doubts will arise concerning some things that
are not pleasing to the natural heart, and you will sit in judgment upon the sermon as you would upon
the remarks of a lecturer or a political speaker. As soon as the meeting closes you will be ready with
some complaint or sarcastic remark, thus showing that the message, however true and needful, has not
profited you. You esteem it not; you have learned the habit of criticizing and finding fault, and you pick
and choose, and perhaps reject the very things that you most need. {5T 298.2}
