SAP Notes and KBAs allows the user:

To search for SAP Note/KBA

To display SAP Note/KBA
Rate a KBA
View all new and updated SAP Notes/KBAs since last visit
Run a system relevance check
Add/remove SAP Note/KBA as favorite
Download for SNOTE
Display PDF version

SAP Notes and KBAs

Option to search for a SAP Note/KBA (Knowledge Based Article) by entering search terms or enter the SAP Note/KBA Number directly in the
search field. A Knowledge Based Article does not include correction instructions.
New since last visit displays all new SAP Notes/KBAS since the last time the user logged in to the Launchpad
Updated since last visit displays all updated SAP Notes/KBAS since the last time the user logged in to the Launchpad
My Favorites displays all SAP Notes/KBA marked as a favorite by the user
Click on the > icon to display a SAP Note/KBA
More will extend the result list

Select a SAP Note/KBA by checking the box or select all from the list by checking the box beside SAP Component in the title row

SAP Notes and KBAs

Show relevance for favorite systems This check is based on the systems added as
favorites by the user (Please check the Favorite Systems tile). If no favorite systems exists
then no results are shown. The user must first select a SAP Note by checking the box or an
error is displayed. The user must select a system from the dropdown menu and press the
show relevance for favorite systems button. A confirmation message Relevance check for
the selected system finished is displayed. Here the user can see if this SAP Note is relevant
or not relevant for the selected system

The system relevance check can also be run while displaying a SAP Note and clicking on
the send to icon

SAP Note and KBAs

In the SAP Note display add or remove a SAP Note as a
favourite by clicking on the star icon. A message is
displayed confirming Added/Removed from the favourite
list successfully. The SAP Note is then added to My
Favorites for easy reference

Click on the send to icon to see the options :

PDF version creates PDF version of the document
System Relevance Check (see previous slide)
Download for SNOTE - This function creates a zip file
which can be imported into SNOTE

SAP Note and KBAs

In the header the user can recognize if they are displaying
a SAP Note/KBA
The SAP Note header includes the version, component,
category and priority. In the body of the SAP Note the user
can see the software component, support packages,
reference documents and if there is an option to display
the SAP Note in another language
The KBA header also contains a rating. In the body of the
KBA the user can rate the KBA on how helpful they found
it. Click on the stars 1-5 with 5 being the highest rating.
The user can also enter suggestions to help improve the
document
