Architects
People need places to live, work, play, shopping and eat. Architects have the responsible for
designing these places .Architects usually work on private projects , indoor and outdoor
spaces .Architects can design anything form a single room to an entire building . Architects plan
and design houses, factories, office buildings, and other structures. There are almost 113,000
people work in this occupation in 2014. Most jobs are in Architectural and Engineering firm.
Architects usually work in their office where they develop plans and design, meet with client ,
discuss with other architects .Architects also visit construction site to prepare initial drawings
and review the progress of projects to make sure that clients objectives are met .
Other working condition of architects is the hours are sometimes flexibility, especially when
they dont have urgent project deadlines. Architects at larger firm may have to travel more
frequently than those who work for small firm. Architects often face intense deadline pressure to
complete projects on times.
The number of employment in architects was 112,600 jobs .The average growth rate for all
occupations is 7 percent. The change of employment from 2014 to 2024 is 7800 employments.
The construction of new retail establishments may also require more architects. Architects will
be needed to make plans and designs for the construction and renovation of homes, offices, retail
stores, and other structures. Many school districts and universities are expected to build new
facilities or renovate existing ones.

Type of training entry-level that architects will need are all state require architects to be
licensed. Licensing requirements typically include completing a professional degree in
architecture, gaining relevant experience through a paid internship, and passing the Architect
Registration Examination.
Tests that will be required to take and pass upon hiring and throughout Architects are a typical
bachelors degree program includes courses in architectural history and theory, building design
with an emphasis on computer-aided . Professional practices, math, physical sciences, and liberal
arts. Central to most architectural programs is the design studio, where students apply the skills
and concepts learned in the classroom to create drawings and three-dimensional models of their
designs. To become architects first step is to earn a professional degree, many architects earn a
masters degree in architecture. In Architecture an architect need to you must have analytical
skills, critical-thinking skills, business skills and Math skills, Problem-solving skills and Writing
skills. The amount of time required depends on the extent of the students previous education
and training in architecture.
The advancement in architects is after many years of work experience, some architects advance
to become Architectural and engineer employees. These managers typically coordinate the
activities of employees and may work on larger construction projects. The possibilities of
moving up in architects are projected for architects with a knowledge of green design. Green
design emphasizes the efficient use of resources, such as energy and water conservation; waste
and pollution reduction; and environmentally friendly design, specifications, and materials.

Rising energy costs and increased concern about the environment have led to many new
buildings being built with more green designs.

Architects design structures, focusing on cost, safety, appearance and function. Architects earn
lower salaries than other professionals such as doctors and lawyers, but most major architectural
firms offer a range of fringe benefits to compensate for the lower salaries. Many young architects
also consider the profession's creative elements as a substantial benefit. Architects can design
towering skyscrapers and other facilities that can survive for their children and grandchildren to
appreciate and enjoy. Their salary was $76,100 in 2015 and this is the median annual wage for
architects. The median wage is the wage at which half the workers in an occupation earned more
than that amount and half earned less. The lowest 10 percent earned less than $46,080, and the
highest 10 percent earned more than $125,520. But there are some firms pay tuition and fees
toward continuing education requirements for their employees. Architects usually work full time
and many work additional hours, especially when facing deadlines. Self-employed architects
may have more flexible work hours. Architects often face intense deadline pressure to complete
projects on times.
The type of works that architects do are they discuss the objectives, requirements, and budget
of a project with clients. In some cases, architects provide various predesign services, such as
feasibility and environmental impact studies, site selection, cost analyses, and design
requirements. But usually architects do thing by step, first they meet the client to define an
objectives and requirements for structures. Second step is give preliminary estimates on cost and
construction time. After estimates on cost they prepare structure specifications. Then they direct

workers who prepare drawings and documents .Fourth step is prepare scaled drawings, either
with computer software or by hand. After that they prepare contract documents for building
contractors, manage construction contracts then they visit worksites to make sure that
construction are right to the plans. And the final step is seek new work by marketing and giving
presentations.
When construction still working, architecture employees may visit the construction site to make
sure that everything is right as a plans. Architects also help their client to get construction bids,
select contractors, and negotiate construction contracts.
The future prospects of this position is in high school, student should practices math, physical
sciences, and liberal arts. Central to most architectural programs is the design studio, where

Thing that I would do to prepare myself in high school for Architecture are I would try my
best studying about computer , physical but especially engineer and architecture . I would learn
more about this field (Architecture ) on internet .In class , I will always participate in class , do
my homework and classwork .I would read and find information about Architecture to know
more about it .These are things that I would do to prepare myself in high school for Aerospace
engineering .
