The pineapple was selected as the ideal fruit to cross the dehydration process
based on their physical and nutritional characteristics, throughout the work
described from growing the fruit itself to the different processes exist where
dehydration is emphasized in the selected for this project by reference to the
benefits.
Moreover a whole market analysis in which the German consumer behavior,
income per capita, competition, the various international export mechanisms
and regulations necessary to enter this market is involved is done. Finally, the
financial viability of the project in which the projections for the first few years of
operation and expected rates of return were conducted develops.

INTRODUCTION
Because of global warming the global climate has presented a series of sudden
and unexpected changes, leading to different economic activities such as export
and import of foods such as fruits and vegetables throughout the world has
become a very complex process. However, processes such as dehydration,
which are based on the latest technological developments, are a key alternative
to carry out the established negotiations.
When considering the variety of fruits that occur in countries located in the
tropics, such as Colombia, and taking into account that there are countries that
have little land suitable for cultivation or do not have the conditions required, the
idea of making a research on the feasibility of exporting tropical fruits to
European countries.
As you begin to develop depth this project we found that pineapple is one of the
most representative and most nutrient load, which lends itself to the realization
of fruit dehydration process.
In the process of investigation it was found that when contemplating the horizon
of countries in the European Union, there are many repetitive patterns of
behavior with respect to food. Whether these trends so marked in certain
segments den is attributed to culture and the different generations that are part
of the essence of these nations. The most representative of the investigation
case was still that of Germany, a country in which an integrated largely by older
adults who present in their diet tend to consume products rich in natural
vitamins and minerals population is observed, which They found in original form
in fruits and vegetables, a fact that becomes our target market.

Finding from research and comparison between different suppliers, which
meets the characteristics required to be part of the value chain.
Evaluate requirements to export and market dried pineapple under optimal
conditions with available technology.

centers and reception of other products.
To choose the port must be analyzed variables such as lines offering service
between Colombia and Germany, the distance between the point of production
and the port or between the port and the destination, conditions Terminal, fees,
