do hereby jointly and severly bind ourselves and our respective heirs, executors, administrator and
legal representatives to pay to the Punjab State Power Corporation Ltd.( here in after called. "The
Corporation" which expression shall include its successors etc.) the amount demanded on account of
i & ii below within a period of 30 days (from date of receipt of the demand letter by hand or from
date of registry of the demand letter) subject to the condition that if the principal Party fails to
refund the amount demanded by the corporation then also to pay interest @a 12% p.a. on the said
amount (the amount demanded on account of i & ii) from expiry of 30 days from date of receipt of
the demand letter by hand or from date of registry of the demand letter:I.

The entire cost incurred by the Corporation on the training during principal party's probation

The amount equivalent to pay & allowances in lieu of the three months' notice period as per
clause 4 of the offer of appointment in case principal party fails to give three months' notice.

Whereas the above bounded Principal Party has been appointed as Upper Diviston Clerk(Office
Asstt. General ) by the Corporation and the Corporation has agreed to give him training during the

probation period on its work for a period as may be decided by the Corporation and appoint him
Upper Division Clerk (Office Asstt. General ) in the Corporation as per terms and Conditions of the
offer of appointment.
Now the condition of the above written obligation is that in the event of the above Bounded Principal
Party Sh . failing to continue his duty, or resigning or leaving his job at
any

time

during

the

probation

period

after

resuming

his

duties

as

..without any prior permission in writing of the Corporation, the

Principal Party and sureties shall forthwith refund to the Corporation as may be directed by the
corporation on demand the entire cost incurred by the Corporation on the training during principal
party's probation period and the amount equivalent to pay & allowances in lieu of the three months'
notice period as per clause 4 of the offer of appointment subject to the condition that if the principal
party fails 'to refund the amount demanded by the corporation within prescribed period then to pay
interest @ 12% p.a. on the said amount.
And upon this above bound Principal Party Sh. and
Sh.. and Sh. .the sureties aforesaid making such
refund the above written obligation shall be void and of no effects, otherwise it shall and remain in
force and virtue.
Provided always that the liabilities of the sureties hereunder shall not impaired or discharged by
reasons of time being granted or by any forbearance act or omission of the Board now PSPCL or any
person authorized by it (Whether with or without the consent or knowledge of the sureties) nor shall
it be necessary for the Board now PSPCL to sue the said Principal Party before suing the above
bounden surities sh. . and Sh. or any of them for amount
due hereunder.
