1. Remote control definition

power on/off.

TV mode selection.

Setup

DVDROM eject: control USB DVD ROM to slot in or eject.

Menu: During playback, press this key to menu contents: play, previous, next, forward,

rewind, slow, info, Chapter, audio track switch, subtitle, recycle, exit.

Number key: input numbers. Under playback, it can be used as time

seek from 0 to 90%: press 0 to display start of movie, press 1 to display 10% of movie.

Home key: back to the main menu,

Return key: return to the previous menu.

Arrows: up/down/left/right, under playback mode, press left/right arrow to

access time bar mode.

Info key: During playback, press this button to show the information of this

movie(Video format, file name, audio format, resolution, file size, zoom etc.)

2.Player setting introduce

Select setting from mainly menu or press setup key from remote control,access
setup menu.

User can setup system/video/music/photo/network here;

Select items with arrow button from remote control, press ok for confirm;
Press return to exit setting menu.

2.1 System setting

2.1.1 Video output: setting video output parameter:

1YPBPR output (480I,576I,720P,1080I);
2) HDMI output (auto,1080P, 1080P 24HZ,1080P 30HZ,1080I,720P,576I,480I)

If screen display has some problem, press arrow buttons of RCl for adjusting:
Left arrow: zoom out left/right screen; right arrow : zoom in left/right screen;

2.5 Network setting

Before using the Network functions, pleas check following items:
Connect the machine to Network first

Please turn off your PC firewall.

Please share the folders which you wish to browse in your PC.
2.5.1. Cable network setting
2.5.1.1. Auto obtain IP, press OK for confirm.

2.5.1.2. Setting IP manually: input IP address by press arrow buttons of remote

control, press ok for obtaining IP address.

2.5.2. Wireless setting

Before configuring the WLAN settings, please check the following:

Make sure the WLAN USB Adapter is connected to the USB HOST port;

Make sure there is a wireless router or an AP (Access Point) on the network,

or your PC is equipped with a wireless network adapter/card;
Make sure your player is in the effective range of the WLAN;
The WIFI dongle is Ralink3072.
Select configure wireless through arrow keys of remote control, press ok to
obtain IP address.

2.6 Share setting

There are 5 items: connect NFS server; connect SMB server; set UPNP share,
set SMB share; set FTP share; set NFS share.

3.Browse and playback media files

3.1 Select media source
3.1.1 Turn on the player, boot image will appear:

Notice:
If playback HD video(resolution is 720P/1080i/1080P )through internet or
WLAN, the video file must be buffered, which will be effect by network speed and
signal strength.
If playback via network share, its better select 720p files; some 1080p will
not very smooth during playing.

4. FW upgrade and recovery

4.1 How to get new FW
Access Egreat official website or forum to get new FW:

4.2 How to upgrade.
1 Copy the new FW (UpdatePacket1.tar) to USB flash root directory, no need
decompress; plug it into USB host of the player, reboot it.
2 After access system menu, press

7It will cost almost 3 minutes, pls make sure keep the unit power on all the time.

access main menu automatically.

4.3 How to recovery after update failed.

4.3.1 Download recovery software from Egreat official website:
http://www.egreatworld.com/support.asp
4.3.2 Decompress the recovery folder first(flashbin.rar), then copy it into root
directory of USB flash, plug into USB host of player.

4.3.3 There are two recovery methods.

The first one:
1).Press restore switch of the player, as below:

2). Reboot the unit, after 10 seconds, release the switch; After 10 seconds again,
it will appear recovery screen.
3).It will cost 3 minutes, pls wait!
4).After recovery finished, it will reboot automatically.

The second one:

1). Turn on the player, when the boot image appeared, pls press the left keys of
remote control repeatedly for 10 seconds, till the refurbish notice screen appear.

2). Select yes to recovery.
