Every Indian knows about Radha. She is the dream girls of most powerful personality Krishna. What
about Radha? Why she is so popular to every Indian?
Here is the fact: Radha-Krishna story tell us how a true love should be. When a true love comes, they
will be the happiest couple of the world. Everyone in this earth deserves that happiness. This desire of
people keeps Radha immortal.
Why your daughter does not deserve power as well as respect? Your daughter can also rule the world.
She can also deserve to take important decision of life. She can fly, she can drive, she can reach at
Everest, and she can also cross the English Channel. But off course the journey will not be as smooth
as we think. The preparation starts from day one or rather when we onboard her.
Think twice before telling your daughter about her dream personality Radha. Your daughter will see
the world through your eyes. Even before going out in the city she knows all about it just through
you. Why dont you tell her to achieve what Krishna achieves in his life? Krishnas life is not that as
simple as Rodhes life. He has prepared himself from day one. But off course he sacrifice personal
comfort for his achievements even his love.
We are sending our tiny kids to the best school and expecting the school will give them the best
education required for their achievements. This is true; she will have the required skill what she
deserve, she would also know how to use it but desire to use those skills wont be there. Since we
have not cultivated that willingness she would forget to use those. Eventually will blame her and
question on her capabilities. And one fine day she will lose her skill. But thats not all, life is not that
simple, there will be some time where situation demands her to show her skill to run a show. But
unfortunately in that time she will be thrown to a believe that she is less achiever. Consequencelly she
will develop other skill to support a system where her success is completely depends upon others
wish or on her luck. But things would have totally in her favour if you set a tight goal for her. Once
she lost her skill, it can be possible that she cant hold the steering of the car firmly when the crisis
comes. When she realize that supporting the driver is not enough. Its the time to drive the car to win
the race, but it will be late, because of you she prepared herself as for supporting role not for a leading
role.

Space Tourism
~Anirban Chatterjee
Want to spend couple of days in space!!! Is it possible?? Nopes but
yes of course it is possible in dream. In school days every night
before going bed we were dreaming to go moon or someplace like
where is gravitation is zero. Where we can swim or float in air or
something like sky walking in zero gravity. Now things are getting
changed, may be in couple of years we can spend couple of days in
space with expense of around 20 Lakhs. Space tourism is planning
to accommodate 100 guests and in near future orbital accommodation
is planning for several hundred guests.
Hotels in orbit will offer the services of your dream
expectation from like-private rooms, meals, bars with stupendous
views - of Earth and space. Web based survey shows that, 88%
people want spacewalk, 21% want a hotel or space station and overall
70% people want to spend 2 weeks in space.
1980s, NASA began a Space Flight Participant program to
allow citizens without scientific or governmental roles to fly. Christa
McAuliffe was chosen as the first Teacher in Space in July 1985 from
11,400 applicants. NASA expected that after McAuliffe's flight two
to three civilians a year would fly on the shuttle. After McAuliffe was
killed in the challenger disaster in January 1986 the programs were
canceled. McAuliffe's backup, Barbara Morgan, eventually got hired
in 1998 as a professional astronaut and flew on STS-118 as a mission
specialist.
In 1990, Toyohiro Akiyama a reporters from flown Tokyo
offered to fly. The cost was about 190 cr and returned a week later.
However, since the cost of the flight was paid by his employer,
Akiyama could be considered a business traveler rather than a tourist.
In 1991, British chemist Helen Sharman was selected from a pool of
13,000 applicants to be the first Briton in space. The program was
known as Project Juno and was a cooperative arrangement between
the Soviet Union and a group of British companies. The Project Juno
consortium failed to raise the funds required, and the program was
almost cancelled. Dennis Tito, an American businessman and former
JPL scientist, became their first candidate who managed to switch his
trip to the International Space Station (ISS) through a deal between
MirCorp and U.S.-based Space Adventures, Ltd., Dennis Tito visited
the ISS on April 28, 2001, and stayed for seven days, becoming the
first "fee-paying" space tourist. He is followed by Mark Shuttleworth
a South African computer millionaire in 2002. In 2005, 3rd ISS visitor
was Gregory Olsen.
By 2007, space tourism was thought to be one of the earliest
markets that would emerge for commercial spaceflight. However, as
of 2015 this private exchange market has not emerged to any
significant extent. Space Adventures remains the only company to
have sent paying passengers to space. In collaboration with the
Federal Space Agency of the Russian Federation and Rocket and
Space Corporation Energia, Space Adventures facilitated the flights
for all of the world's first private space explorers. The first three
participants paid in excess of 130 crores each for their 10-day visit
to the ISS. After the Columbia disaster, space tourism on the Russian
Soyuz program was temporarily put on hold, because of that Soyuz
vehicles became the only available transport to the ISS. On July 26,
2005, Space Shuttle Discovery (mission STS-114) marked the
shuttle's return to space. Consequently, in 2006, space tourism was
resumed. On September 18, 2006, an Iranian American named
Anousheh Ansari became the fourth space tourist. On April 7, 2007,
Charles Simonyi, an American businessman of Hungarian descent, he
became the first repeat space tourist, paying again to fly on March
April 2009. Canadian Guy Lalibert became the next space tourist in
September, 2009.
On January 12, 2011, Space Adventures and the Russian
Federal Space Agency announced that orbital space tourism manned
Soyuz launches to the ISS from four to five times per year.SpaceX is
a private space company which is developing their own rocket family
called Falcon and a capsule named Dragon, capable of sending up to
seven people to any space station. Falcon 1 has already undertaken
test flights and successfully completed its first commercial flight on
July 14, 2009. Space Adventures Ltd, have announced that they are
working on DSE-Alpha, a circumlunar mission to the moon, with the
price per passenger will be around 660 cr.
No suborbital space tourism has occurred yet, but since it is
projected to be more affordable, many companies view it as a moneymaking proposition. Most are proposing vehicles that make
suborbital flights peaking at an altitude of 100160 kilometres.
Passengers would experience three to six minutes of weightlessness,
a view of a twinkle-free starfield, and a vista of the curved Earth
below. Projected costs are expected to be about
120 cr per
passenger. Virgin Galactic, headed by Sir Richard Branson's Virgin
Group, hopes to be the first to offer regular suborbital spaceflights to
paying passengers, aboard a fleet of five SpaceShipTwo-class
spaceplanes. It was intended to commence its first commercial flights
in spring 2015, and tickets were on sale at a price of 165 lakh.
However, the company suffered a considerable setback when the
Enterprise broke up during a test flight in October 2014. Over 700
tickets had been sold prior to the accident. A second spaceplane is
currently under construction.
Lynx is developed by XCOR Aerospace for rapid turnaround,
which will enable it to fly up to four times per day since, it doesnt
not require a mothership. But it can carry only one pilot and one
spaceflight participant on each flight. Lynx prototype tests are
supposed to be in 2015. If all goes well, it is hoped that Lynx will
carry paying customers before the end of 2016. Space Expedition
Corporation was preparing to use the Lynx for "Space Expedition
Curaao", a commercial flight from Hato Airport on Curaao a Dutch
island in Caribbean Sea and planned to start commercial flights by
this year 2015. The costs were around 60 lakh each.
Global warming is the biggest threat for space tourism. In
2010 study published in Geophysical Research Letters raised
concerns that the growing commercial spaceflight industry could
accelerate global warming. The study, funded by NASA and The
Aerospace Corporation, simulated the impact of 1,000 suborbital
launches of hybrid rockets from a single location, calculating that this
would release a total of 600 tonnes of black carbon into the
stratosphere. They found that the resultant layer of soot particles
remained relatively localised, with only 20% of the carbon straying
into the southern hemisphere, thus creating a strong hemispherical
asymmetry. This unbalance would cause the temperature to decrease
by about 0.4 C in the tropics and subtropics, whereas the
temperature at the poles would increase by between 0.2 and 1 C.
The ozone layer would also be affected.
Space tourism could become a billion-dollar market within
20 years this claimed by The Economic Impact of Commercial
Space Transportation on the U. S Economy in 2009. In addition, in
the decade since Dennis Tito journeyed to the International Space
Station, eight private citizens have paid the 130 cr fee to travel to
space. Space Adventures suggests that this number could increase
fifteen-fold by 2020.These figures do not include other private space
agencies such as Virgin Galactic, which as of 2014 has sold
approximately 700 tickets worth 165 lakh each and has accepted
more than
530 cr in deposits. That means our dreams are
converting into the reality very soon so, never stop dreaming beyond
your imagination.

heard my male colleagues commenting how being females we try to exploit the rules yet demand for
equality. When I took a months break between job shifts I have heard from my male colleagues on how
it doesnt matter to me as anyway my husband is working and I work only for pocket money. On
occasions when I have shared my view of missing my 1 year old daughter while I am at office, I have
heard my male colleagues comment on how I am not a good mother for having decided to continue to
work leaving my child at home. All these have made me react at times and ignore most of the times.
Can someone tell me for how long can we be quiet?
Nothing can be done about changing it until the mindset changes, the mindset that stops employers
from hiring females because they might get married and have kids and reasons like this. None of us
come with a guarantee when you recruit us, be it a male or a female. Yes when a female employee gets
married there is a chance that she leaves the place and goes in order to be with her husband if he is in a
different location. Yes there is a chance that once a female employee has a kid she leaves her job in
order to be with her kid. But that doesnt mean we cannot hire her. Rather the organizations can have
policies to help her retain her job, policies which encourage a couple to work in the same organization
which might give an opportunity to the male counterpart to shift bases to where his wife resides.
Organizations can make policies that give woman full support during her post pregnancy days; by
working in shifts, from home, take more leaves, by funding few day-cares or pre-schools near office
premises.
But solutions can only be thought, only if one realizes that there is a problem. Since most organizations
are male dominated and they think only about the P&L at the end of the day, its a difficult job to have
everyone come under the same UMBRELLA which says SAY NO TO GENDER BIASES.
Lets first try to understand the plain and simple fact of life that there are males and there are females
and just because you are a male doesnt mean you are better. You need to exhibit certain qualities to be
better; that benefits the organization and the society as a whole. And one of the qualities that make you
better than others is when you know and understand the fact of respecting an individual for the qualities
he/she has and not based on his/her gender.
