General introduction and distribution of the Attendance Sign in


forms.

1.1

The meeting began at 10:00 am and attendees of the meeting were given the
platform to introduce themselves making it known to the house their
designations and with which project team they represented.

SITE INSPECTION

2.1

The inspection team led by the consultant and the contractor took the client, the
Judiciary Secretary representatives, to enlighten them on progress of works.
This activity was done in a thirty(30) minutes time frame.

PROJECT REQUIREMENTS.

3.1

Health & Safety;


(i)The project consultant suggest warning tapes and project sign posts should be
positioned to alert passers-by and in bound workers on current constructional
activities being carried out.
(ii) Attention was given on artisans failing to be in their personal protection
equipments (PPE).

Noise levels;
(iii) Contractor was advised to regulate the noise emission from the construction
activities on site.
Samples of materials for approval;
(i) Project Consultant directed the Contractor that all samples of building
materials incorporated in the BOQ should be submitted for approval before
any bulk purchases.Client advised to check the availability of all sampled
materials on the market before submission.

Payment Order requirement; (i)Contractor was directed submit guarantee for


advance payment and agreed to submit in two weeks duration.

UPDATE ON PROGRESS OF WORKS:


Update on AC works;
(i)Subcontractor for AC works has directed the relocation of the outdoor units
for the two(2) Appeals court outside the judges perimeter and secondly briefed
the house on the discharge of the condensate water from the units.
Update on Electrical works;
(i)Subcontractor for Electrical works informed the house on firming up the
BOQ for provisional sums and accounting purposes.

4.3

Update on ICT works;


(i)Subcontractor on ICT informed the house on its deliberation with the IT
works to determine the exact specifications of equipments to be used in their
works within a twenty four (24) hour duration.

Update on Furniture works;


(i)Subcontractor on furniture works stated their works will need a time frame of
atleast six(6) weeks to manufacture and deliver but was uncertain on the
delivery of the gallery chairs due to design constraints.

OPEN FLOOR SUGGESTIONS:


(i)The recent power cut at the main power room by the contractor in order to
carry out construction activities.
(ii)Evacuation of occupants to enhance smooth operations on site.
(iii)Client advised subcontractors to avoid any form of impediments to prevent
the contractor from carrying out its duties effectively.
(iv)Consultant advised on electrical lighting samples to be submitted for
approval.

CONCLUSION
The meeting was ended with a prayer at 12 50 pm.
