*Asst. Medical Officer, Government Central Workshops (Now Railway Workshop) Amritsar 1951 1952
*Founder Fellow IMA College of General Practitioners (IMACGP) - Affiliated to The Royal College of Family Physicians London.

in every District with a Modern Hospice in every Tertiary Health Centre. These Communes shall be supervised by the residents. Free
board & lodging for deserving elderly. The deserted Senior Citizens when they shall reside in these Communes, the problem of Elders
Abuse will vanish and the Hospices shall provide the moribund an honorabl demise,

Dr. Chawlas Family

Dr. Tej Pal Singh Chawla is happily married to Smt. Harbans Kaur. They are blessed with an illustrious daughter,
Dr. Ladbans Kaur M.D. (Radiology). She is a renowned Fetal Ultrasound Expert of the region.
Her husband Dr. U. P. Singh M.D. (Medicine) D.M. (Cardiology) is a famous Echo-Cardiologist of North India.
They are managing their own enterprise: Prime Diagnostic Centre & Heart Institute in SCOs: 155-56, Sector 24-D, Chandigarh.
Dr. Chawlas elder brother (Late) S. Kulbir Singh was the longest serving Chief Engineer Chd for a record period of 18 yrs (1962-80)
Dr. Chawlas younger brother Dr. H. S. Chawla, Ex. Prof. & Head, Dept. of Oral Sciences PGI Chandigarh, is managing his own enterprise:
Sukh-Iqbal Dental Centre at # 613, Sector 16-D, Chandigarh.
