male S/N Kamalakannan. S/N Vatsala put off
the fire using CO2 extinguisher. Male S/N
Perumal closed the O2 valve. All medical,
non medical staff were evacuated safely
along with one bed patient to the assembling
point (between A4 & B4).

In the middle of the surgery at 2.48pm

Dr.Hari anesthetist identified the electrical
fire. Immediately surgical team members
were alerted each member did their role
perfect well and the patient was evacuated
safely within 1 minute 20secs. Mock drill was
observed by Doctors, Nurses, technologists,
Technicians, Ward Secretaries and House
Keeping persons all together about 123
members

at 9.30am. in this 3 patients went as OP. One

CHILD ABDUCTION DRILL CODE PINK

Staff from B3 called & informed the Child

abduction to 250 .instructed all the access
control to tighten up. Another team was
directed to view or replay the CCTV cameras.
Security guards were alerted. A lady dressed
well was nabbed in the B3 corridor itself since
the infant was carried without staff nurse. So on
suspicious
circumstances
the
lady
who
abducted the child was caught and handed over
the police.
The S/N from C3 ICU called and informed the
child abduction to the Security control room Ext.
no.250 alerted the entry/exit security points
and the main gate exit entrance. Another team
was directed to view or replay the CCTV
cameras. The code pink team arrives C3 ICU
and enquiry done about the child abductor. The
child abductor was found with the born baby
near 1st floor by the ASO and security guard.
The baby handed over to the mother and
necessary verification done and the child
abductor is handed over to the local police
station.
