According to my project, there are so many areas I need to prepare
for questionnaires which are described below:
Network
Is there existing network and what the network
primarily used for such as internet, intranet,
emails etc.?
What is the network operating system?
What is the network communication protocol?
Is there any connectivity to the public internet?
Who is the provider and what is the bandwidth?
What types of routers, hubs, and switches are
used of there is an existing system?
Service Required
What kind of devices need to be connected to
the network such as Surveillance cameras,
intercom etc
Ongoing project maintenance is required or not?
Performance monitoring and output
Fault diagnosis, maintenances and updates
Staff training
Number of staff of the company
Number of staff using the network and who
needs the administrative access
No of floors to design the network
Maintaining, updating, removing the existing
hardware and installing the new one if required
Security
Firewall protection and antivirus system

2. Explain why this is the best tool for the job.

According to my knowledge, time management is a major factor to
meet people in any organization. Time constraint plays a major role
where it is almost impossible to meet all people in any organization
to gather information about the project going to be design. So, that I
have chosen the questionnaires method to collect the required
information from a group of people. Questionnaires are used to
collect facts, information or opinions - for example, workloads,
reports received, volumes of transactions handled, types of job
duties, difficulties, opinions of how a job could be better or more
efficiently performed. It helps to determine what is most necessarily
required to go in further steps of the project. Questionnaires are a
more convenient form of information gathering as they can be filled
in as time is available.
