Re: Membership
Mr. Crichlow:
This letter is to indicate the intentions of the below signed High
Schools to apply for membership into the CIF Central Section to
commence with the Fall 2018-19 school year. Our commitment to
leave the Southern Section and join the Central Section is
predicated on the following two stipulations;
1) There be no restrictions for hosting play-off contests or
mandating that we must travel for a prescribed period of
time before being allowed to host play-off contests.
2) That we be placed in our own separate area for purposes
of League Realignment with a representative from our area
being placed on the Executive Board for representation. If
representation model changes by 2018-19 we are just asking
for representation on CIF matters.
In fairness to the CIF Southern Section and in regards to their Area
Placement and League Realignment process, we must have an
OFFICIAL acceptance to our intentions no later than March 1,
2017.
