ThisistoclarifythattheOctober30,2015deadlinesetintheCallforExpressionsofIntentforSeniorHighSchool
TeachingPositionsforSchoolYear(SY)20162017isfortheexpressionsofintentandNOTthesubmissionofapplication
requirements.

Toreiterate,thepurposeofthecallwastohaveapreliminarypool.Oncetheteachingpositionsarecreated,schoolsdivision
offices(SDOs)shallpublishvacanciesforaperiodoften(10)daysincompliancewithRepublicActNo.7041(Publication
Law).

InterestedapplicantsmaycontinuesubmittingdocumentaryrequirementstotheirrespectivelocalDepEddivision
offices.Thehiringguidelinescontainingtheevaluationcriteriaandselectionprocesswillbeissuedsoon.

preliminarypool.Oncetheteachingpositionsarecreated,SDOsshallpublishvacanciesforaperiodoften(10)daysin
compliancewithRANo.7041(PublicationLaw).Interestedcandidatesshallberequiredtosubmittheirformalapplication.
TheyshallthenberankedfollowingDepEdsevaluationcriteriaandselectionprocess,whichwillbeissuedatalaterdate.
Hiringandplacementofsuccessfulapplicantsshallbeaccordingtothefollowinggeneralguidelines:
1.Priorityshallbebasedonranking.
2.Affected/displacedfacultyfromhighereducationinstitutionsshalllikewisebegivenpriority.
3.Theteachingrank,salarygradeandstatusofappointmentwilldependontheapplicantsqualifications.
4.PermanentfulltimestatusshallonlybegiventoapplicantswithPRCteachinglicenseand/orappropriate
certification.
5.TheDepEdSDOshalldeterminetheapplicantsschoolassignmentsinconsultationwiththeSHS.
