PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Polyester is a thin layer type coating for indoor and
outdoor use. The coating has a friction-reinforced surface, and is well suited to external roofs and facades
in normal environments. Polyester is a finishing paint
based on a polyester bonding agent with high dry
matter content. The high dry matter content makes
the coating very economical and reliability of
production rate.
BASE MATERIAL
Polyester is coated on to both hot-galvanised steel
and aluminium, and on to cold-rolled steel for industrial purposes.
PRE-TREATMENT
Cleaning and pre-treatment in several steps for best
adhesion, and chromating which provides greater protection against corrosion.
COLOURS
21 standard colours in accordance with the NCS system and special colours produced at extra cost. Ask
for our colour chart for the full colour range. Against
additional payment and minimum quantity Polyester
can also be supplied coated on both sides.
DURABILITY OF COLOUR
Polyester colour durability is good. The aesthetic useful life is influenced by many factors, e.g. environmental effect of chemical fall-out, the area of use (roof
or facade), structural factors in the form of rain shadow,
weather direction, design and workmanship, maintenance etc. Polyester has good workability, very good
surface hardness giving a good dirt-repellent quality.
The aesthetic useful life is 10 to 15 years in a normal
environment.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Plastisol is a PVC based coating of thick layer type for
outdoor use. The coating has a friction-reinforced surface, is particulary intensive and tolerates hard manual working and wear, for example snow shovelling.
Plastisol-EPC also has a reinforced UV coating for
better colour and lustre retention. Plastisol-EPC is a
dispersion of high-molecular PVC in softeners.
BASE MATERIAL
Plastisol-EPC is coated on to hot-galvanised steel
with zinc weight class Z275 and Z350 gr/m2.
PRE-TREATMENT
Cleaning and pre-treatment in several steps for best
adhesion, and chromating which reinforces the protection against corrosion.
COLOURS
11 standard colours as per the NCS system and special colours which can be developed at extra cost. Ask
for our colour chart for the full colour range. Against
additional payment, Plastisol-EPC can be supplied
coated with 100 m on the back.
DURABILITY OF COLOUR
Plastisol colour durability is good. The aesthetic useful
life is influenced by many factors, e.g. environmental
effect of chemical fall-out and dumping, the area of
use (roof or wall), structural factors in the form of roof
pitch, weather direction, design and workmanship,
maintenance etc. Plastisol-EPC has through continuous development and improved pigment, an
aesthetic useful life of 10 to 15 years in a normal environment.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Protect is a PVF2 coating, but has a backing of thick
coat primer which is three times thicker than for
ordinary PVF2. On the back the primer is also reinforced with a thicker layer to increase resistance to
corrosion. Protect gives a better and thicker backing
for the surface coating on both front and back.
BASE MATERIAL
Protect is coated on to hot-galvanised steel. The minimum quantity is 500 rmtrs per dimension.
PRE-TREATMENT
Cleaning and pre-treatment in several steps for best
adhesion, and chromating which reinforces the protection against corrosion.
COLOURS

for our colour tests for choices of colour.
DURABILITY OF COLOUR
PVF2 colour durability is excellent. The aesthetic
useful life is influenced by many factors, e.g.
environmental effect of chemical fall-out and dumping, the area in which the facade is being used,
structural factors in the form of rain shadow,

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Shine is a pigmented coat which seals the surface
coat underneath. The coating is of thin layer type, and
is partially transparent so as to give varying colour
effects with the paint layer underneath. Shine has no
friction-reinforced surface to give better surface hardness for dirt-repellent properties and greater flexibility
than comparable coating systems of thin layer type.
BASE MATERIAL
Shine is applied as an additional layer on Gasell Profil
standard PVF2 system and base material hot-galvanised steel.
COLOURS
On all standard colours in PVF2 suitable for NCS. Ask
for our Shine colour samples for the colour range available.
DURABILITY OF COLOUR
The colour retention of Shine is excellent. The
aesthetic useful life is influenced by many factors, e.g.
environmental effect of chemical fall-out and dumping, the area of application to the facade, structural
factors in the form of rain shadow, protrusion
exposure, prevailing weather direction, design and
workmanship, maintenance etc. The extra surface
layer gives better dirt-repellent properties and
flexibility, which extends the aesthetic useful life to
over 20 years in a normal environment.

Clear Lacquer is an unpigmented coat which seals
the surface coat underneath. The coating is of thin
layer type, and is transparent. So as to give best surface hardness Clear Lacquer has no frictionreinforced surface, which brings with it good dirtrepellent qualities and flexibility. Clear lacquer gives
better colour retention, resistance to corrosion and
greater flexibility than comparable coating systems of
thin layer type.
