Background
According to the data, dengue fever has infected more than 100 countries, which means
more than 2.5 billion people at high risk of exposure to dengue virus. Since 1960 until
2002, there were more than 4 million patients of dengue fever were hospitalized and
65,000 people die from it.
Method
This is a descriptive study with retrospective approach. This research was conducted at
the health center Darul Imarah of Aceh Besar on May 2 s / d July 11, 2015. The
population in this study were all patients at the health center referral Darul Imarah of
Aceh Besar period 2014 to 2015 as many as 60 patients. The sample used in this study is
the technique of total sampling as many as 60 patients.
Result
From the results of research on the role of environmental health officers dakam reduce
the incidence of dengue in PHC Darul Emirate Aceh Besar 2015, patient respondents who
claimed to have had a role clerk at 96.7%, while other opinions that have been delivered
to the patient is about precautions by 73 , 3%. Thus, from the above results obtained total
as much as 96.7% of patients expressed either in terms of the role of the officer in
Puskesmas Darul Imarah.
Knot
Patients who visit the health center stated that the Darul Emirate Role of Environmental
Health Officers in reducing the incidence of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever in PHC Darul
Imarah 2015 includes both categories.
