SUMMARY OF FINDINGS, SUGGESTIONS AND


CONCLUSION

5.1 FINDINGS
Human capital is the most important asset of an organization .So
the researcher tried to find out the role of welfare measures in employee
retention.

In Network clothing company Private Ltd, they are providing


various types of welfare measures such as group insurance, personal
accident insurance, accident insurance scheme, subsidized food and
transportation, company leased accommodation, personal health care
loans and wedding day gift. The researcher found that 64 percentage of
respondents were satisfied and 11 percentage of the respondents were
highly satisfied with the welfare measures provided by the company.

The major findings of the study are:


Out of 200 respondents, 63 percentage of the respondents were
male and the remaining were female.

41 percentage of the respondents belongs to the age group below


25 years
Out of 200 respondents, 59 percentage of the respondents were
married.
30 percentage of the respondents were SSLC and 27 percentage of
the respondents were graduates in their educational qualification.
The researcher analyzed that 48 percentage of the respondents
were getting the salary below Rs.10000 and 40 percentage of the
respondents were getting the salary between Rs.10,000 to 15,000.
36 percentage of the respondents were having experience below 2
years, 34 percentage of the respondents were having 2-5 years of
work experience.
78 percentage of the respondents were working in the production
department.
The researcher analyzed that 84 percentage of the respondents
were workers and the remaining respondents were managers and
HR.
64 percentage of the respondents family were rarely benefited
with their job.

49 percentage of the respondents were highly satisfied with the


opinion towards the safety of women, 30 percentage of the
respondents were satisfied with the opinion
Out of 200 respondents, 74 percentage of the respondents were
aware of the welfare measures.
76 percentage of the respondents were satisfied with the company
policy and only 8 percentage of the respondents were highly
satisfied with the policy provided by the company.
48 percentage of the respondents were satisfied and 30 percentage
of them were highly satisfied towards the recruitment.
66 percentage of the respondents were satisfied towards promotion
and only 24 percentage of the respondents were highly satisfied
towards the promotion given by the company.
66 percentage of the respondents were satisfied with the training
provided by the company.
77 percentage of the respondents were satisfied towards the
performance appraisal.
Out of 200 respondents, most of the respondents have the effect on
relationship with co-workers on the job.

Only 61 percentage of the respondents were satisfied with the job


security.
48 percentage of the respondents were satisfied and 32 percentage
of the respondents were dissatisfied with the bonus provided by
the company.
There are a significant difference between gender and effect of
welfare measures.
There are no significant difference between marital status and job
security of the respondents.
There is no significant difference between salary and experience in
the job of the respondents.
There is no significant difference between age and promotion in the
job.

They provide all the facilities to the workers such as


transportation, medical, loan, etc,. So the organization is having a high
reputation on the basis of workers.

5.2 SUGGESTIONS
The organization is having a good care upon its employees. Though
they are providing all sorts of welfare measures, the researcher have some
suggestions for the organizations for the development of the organization
and its employees.

Even though the employees are qualified some of them are not
fully aware of the welfare measures. So they should be given awareness.
The company can introduce more recreational activity by including
the family.
The employees should utilize the facilities provided by the
company.
There should be more motivational classes for the employees for
the organizational as well for the self development.
There should be more interaction between the employees with the
employers to make we-feeling, through which the retention can be
reduced.
The organization should give emphasis on the career development
and make job more attractive.
There should be a job satisfaction survey in every quarter.

5.3 CONCLUSION
Employee retention is one of the problems faced by the industries.
The topic retention is relevant in this contemporary. From this study the
researcher understand that Network clothing company Private Ltd is
providing good welfare and are having high level of satisfaction among
them. The researcher has tried to give some suggestions for the
improvement of the existing system. Through implementing the
suggestions both the organization and its employees can achieve success
and development.
