Reminder:
Be extremely careful when putting back

on the LCD housing; make sure the

screws are NOT tightened all the way down.

Discontinue action immediately as soon as

force is felt on the housing. Further tightening

of the screws will cause touch screen to crack

resulting in inaccurate cursor.

Controller Board Preparation

Apply rubber adhesive on the bottom side of the Touch-Hub

Controller board as insulation.

Step 1.

 Remove all 6 screws for LCD

housing.

Step 2.

 Remove all 13 screws for bottom

housing.
 Remove the backdoor and detach
the wifi antennas.

Step 3.

 Remove keyboard by pushing in

the 4 springs.
Step 4.

 Remove both FPC for keyboard

and touchpad.

Step 5.

 Remove all 7 screws for keyboard

housing.

1. Remove quick key connector

plug.

Step 6.

 Remove motherboard from

bottom housing by taking out all
screws encircled in red.

1. Remove fan connector.

2. Remove speaker connector.
3. Remove camera connector.
4. Remove microphone connector.
5. LCD connector.
Step 7.

1. USB input port. Use Hub Harness

to connect camera port on the
motherboard to Touch-Hub
Controller board.
2. USB output port.
3. USB output port
4. USB output port to camera
module (Camera Harness
extension)
5. To touch screen
6. Camera plug that was previously
detached from the motherboard.

Step 8.

1. Camera port on the motherboard

2. Touch screen panel connection
3. Make 1 or 2 loops to the ribbon
cable for easy assembly.
Step 9.

 Remove all 4 screws on both

sides to detach LCD module from
the housing.

Step 10.

 Remove both screws on each side

of the LCD module to detach the
LCD brackets. This is to lower the
LCD module to accommodate the
thickness of the touch screen
panel.
 Remember to replace the LCD
brackets back to its’ original
position in step 9.

Step 11.

 Secure the touch screen panel

onto the LCD module as shown.
 Place Shock Absorber Rubber on
 the metal frame surrounding the touch screen panel.

Note: Touch screen comes with double sided tape around the frame of the panel for
easy mounting.
