Principe de fonctionnement

Protection contre la surchauffe

Le tlvariateur EV 011 permet de faire varier

la luminosit dune charge incandescente,
halogne basse tension (BT 230 V), halogne
trs basse tension (TBT 12 V ou 24 V) avec
transformateur ferromagntique.
Le rglage du niveau dclairement se fait
par des boutons poussoirs lumineux ou
standards raccords au produit :
- par appuis brefs :allumage ou
extinction de lclairage.
- par appuis maintenus : variation de
la luminosit jusquau niveau minimum ou
maximum. Le sens de la variation est invers
chaque nouvel appui maintenu.

En cas de surchauffe la puissance

disponible est automatiquement rduite.
Pour remdier ce phnomne :
- adapter ou diminuer la charge raccorde sur la
sortie du variateur,
- diminuer la temprature du produit et celle
de lenveloppe en insrant des intercalaires
de dissipation (ex : LZ 060) de part et dautre
du variateur EV 011 et en assurant une bonne
ventilation.

Working principle

Protection against overheating

The remote control dimmer EV 011 allows to

control the lighting level of an incandescent
load, LV halogen lamp (230 V), and Extra Low
Voltage halogen lamp (ELV 12 V or 24 V) with
ferromagnetic transformer.
The light level is adjusted using a remotely
mounted push button:
- short press : to switch the
device ON or OFF.
- maintain pressure : to vary between the
minimum and maximum lighting level.
Each new maintained pressure reverses the
dimming direction.

In the event of overheating or overload the power

available is automatically reduced.
To remedy this situation :
- adjust or lower the load connected to the output
of the dimmer,
- lower the T of the device and that of casing by
inserting heat dissipation inserts on both sides of
the EV 011 dimmer, while ensuring a good
ventilation.

Warranty

A warranty period of 24 months is offered on hager products,

from date of manufacture, relating to any material of manufacturing defect. If any product is found to be defective it must be
returned via the installer and supplier (wholesaler).
The warranty is withdrawn if :
- after inspection by hager quality control dept the device is
found to have been installed in a manner which is contrary to
IEE wiring regulations and accepted practice within the industry
at the time of installation.
- the procedure for the return of goods has not been followed.
Explanation of defect must be included when returning goods.

Funktionsbeschreibung

Schutz gegen bertemperatur

Der Ferndimmer EV 011 ermglicht es die

Helligkeit von Glhlampen, Halogenleuchten
(230 V), und Niederspannungs-Halogenleuchten
(12 V oder 24 V) mit konventionellen
Transformatoren, zu dimmen.
Die Einstellung der Helligkeit erfolgt ber an
das Gert angeschlossene, beleuchtete Taster
oder Standard-Taster:
- kurzer Druck:
Ein- bzw. Ausschalten.
- langer Druck:
Verstellen der Helligkeit.
Die Regelspanne reicht von Minimum bis
Maximum. Die Regelrichtung wird bei jedem
neuen langen Druck umgekehrt.

Bei bertemperatur wird die Abgabeleistung

automatisch reduziert.

Montieren Sie das Gert im unteren Bereich

des Verteilers um eine zu hohe Temperatur
whrend des Gebrauchs zu vermeiden.

Gegenmanahmen :
- Abstand zu benachbarten Gerten erhhen
(z. B. Distanzstck LZ 060) und Verteiler gut
belften.
- Angeschlossene Lampenleistung verringern.
