The TankCell family offers the widest size range on the

market from 5 m to 500 m and the symmetrical design
allows a flexible layout. The new large TankCell e500 has
been scaled up from smaller TankCells by using the same
rules that made the previous worlds largest flotation
machine TankCell e300 an immediate success.
The Outotec TankCell e500 has been targeted for projects
with high material throughputs where the number of cells
needed for operation with smaller equipment becomes
big. Typical applications for TankCell e500 are large
copper and gold operations.

Unique Froth Launder design

Large flows and large volumes produce a lot of froth.
The unique internal double launder design of the
TankCell e500 provides enough froth lip length with
minimized froth transport distance and enables an easy
tailoring for every process need.
FlowBooster The auxiliary impeller for a flotation
machine
The Outotec FlowBooster can also be installed to
TankCell e500 for processes that require extra pumping.
FlowBooster increases mixing in the cell significantly
with only small increase in power draw.
Internal dart valve and level control design
The Outotec TankCell e500 internal dart valve design
allows flexible installation of 1-3 valves to enable
optimized level control for all applications. Long stroke
actuators guarantee exact control and simple design
of the valve arrangement inside the tank enables easy
maintenance.
State-of-the-art Outotec EIT pulp level measurement
system
All Outotec TankCell flotation machines can now be
equipped with new Outotec EIT (electron impedance
tomography) level measurement system that provides
exact measurement in all process conditions without
moving parts.
