WORKERS

x.

The parish has one commissioned catechist and other five non-commissioned, this
only commissioned catechist John Emathe is paid by the Diocese of Lodwar. The non
commissioned catechist receive their allowances/dues from the Diocese Kshs 9000/=
given by priest in charge for frontier Catechists within the plus other un regular
vasitants.

xi.

NB: Nobody can claim anything from the parish or the diocese except John Emathe
until when he himself wishes to retire or expelled. There is great need to train good
and committed catechist who are ready to serve God and the people and people to be
taught how to support and contribute to their catechists welfare.

xii.

COMMENT ABOUT CHRISTIANS FAITH

xiii.

We have substantial number of Christians, but those who come to church are like 10
% especially when there is a traditional marriage nobody comes to the church.

xiv.

Here at Kangatotha parish church centre, a small number of 10 receive Holy

Communion and other sacraments. It is important to educate the Christians about
coming to church and sacraments than only to come when there is food from the
Diocese.

RECOMMENDATION/FUTURE PROJECTION
i.
There should be a well planned and Aggressive education to the Christians to own and
support their church, priests and catechists.
ii.
There is need to construct Sacrist attached to the main chapel to enable the liturgical
material to be kept safe and holy preserved.
iii.
The Christians should be assisted elect able leaders who understand and, committed to
their catholic faith and who can stay closer to their Christians.
iv. The two outlets in the room are dangerous, the thieves passes though when father is not
around to steal, therefore a new and strong fence around the fathers house is inevitable.
v.
An idea of setting up a CONVENT in Kangatotha is a noble one and should be
supported by anybody who loves. The church for evangelisation for purpose being
setting up a dispensary, bookshop project and nursery school. All these could be
managed by sisters.
vi.
The Fathers house s a good one but urgently needs repainting.
vii.
The fathers residence /house is a private place/ and should be respected
