Grace Church Womens

Retreat at St. Marys College

HOW TO LIVE LIKE

MARY IN A MARTHA
KIND OF WORLD

degree from Lehigh University, an MBA from Duke

University, a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry
from Indiana Christian University and a Master
of Divinity and Ph.D from Garrett-Evangelical
Theological Seminary. But don't let all of her
educational accomplishments scare you off. She
promises that this workshop is designed to have
fun with plenty of time for play, while it addresses
how to handle business and the daily stress of
managing one's life. She often describes herself as a
"Recovering MBA," and wants participants in this
workshop to walk away with better tools for coping
in such a busy world.
Dr. LaBoy's favorite passage of scripture is
Philippians 3:12-14, "I'm not saying that I have
this all together, that I have it made. But I am well
on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so
wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don't
get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an
expert in all of this, but I've got my eye on the goal,
where God is beckoning us onward to Jesus. I'm off
and running and I'm not turning back!"
