Amigo2, Tia Amestiasih3 Yogaraditya04@Gmail.com INTISARI Latar Belakang: Diabetes Melitus merupakan penyakit menahun yang dapat dikendalikan salah satunya dengan diet. Diet menjadi hal penting dalam penatalaksanaan DM sehingga dapat mengurangi dampak komplikasi seperti stroke, ulkus kaki, kebutaan, penyakit ginjal, gagal jantung, neuropati, dan kematian. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara yang dilakukan kepada sepuluh pasien DM, didapatkan lima pasien DM belum sepenuhnya patuh mengikuti program diet DM disebabkan pasien menganggap diet yang dilakukan tidak terlalu berpengaruh terhadap kesembuhan penyakitnya, dua pasien DM mengatakan tahu tentang diet tetapi masih mengkonsumsi makanan yang tidak sesuai dengan diet 3J dan 3 pasien mengatakan belum merubah kebiasaan pola makan dari sebelum sakit karena merasa diet tidak terlalu berpengaruh terhadap penyakit DM. Tujuan: Mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan dengan kepatuhan penerapan diet pada pasien DM diDesa Caturtunggal, Depok, Sleman Yogyakarta. Metode: Metode yang digunakan menggunakan desain analitik korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Instrument menggunakan kuesioner. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah 348 pasien DM diDesa Caturtungal, Depok, Sleman Yogyakarta. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Cluster Sampling, jumlah sampel 189 responden. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji sommers dengan =0,05. Hasil: Hasil penelitian diperoleh pengetahuan diet pasien DM kategori baik yaitu 126 (66,7%) responden dan kepatuhan diet pasien DM kategori baik yaitu 97 (48,7%). Hasil analisa bivariat dengan p value 0,009 (<0,05). Simpulan: Ada hubungan antara pengetahuan dengan kepatuhan penerapan diet pada pasien DM di Desa Caturtungal, Depok, Sleman Yogyakarta. THE CORRELATION BETWEEN KNOWLEDGE AND COMPLIANCE

Amigo2, Tia Amestiasih3 Yogaraditya04@Gmail.com ABSTRACT Background: Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease that can be controlled either by diet. Diet to be important in the management of diabetes and reduce the impact of complications such as stroke, leg ulcers, blindness, kidney disease, heart failure, neuropathy, and death. Based on the results of interviews conducted for ten patients with DM, obtained five diabetic patients has not been fully obedient to follow the diet DM caused patients consider a diet that do not significantly affect the healing of the disease, two patients with DM said he knew about diet but still eat foods that do not fit with the diet "3J" and 3 patients say has not changed his eating habits from before the illness because he felt the diet does not significantly affect the DM disease. Objective: To determine the relationship of knowledge to compliance with the application of diet Diabetes mellitus in Caturtunggal, Depok, Sleman Yogyakarta. Methods: The method used to use correlation analytic design with cross sectional approach. Instrument using a questionnaire. The population in the study were 348 patients with Diabetes mellitus in Caturtunggal, Depok, Sleman Yogyakarta. The samples were taken using a Cluster Sampling technique, sample of 189 respondents. Data were analyzed using Sommers test with = 0.05. Results: The research results show that in terms of knowledge about diet, most of the Diabetes mellitus patients belong to good category (126 respondents, or 66.7%), and in terms of compliance to perform the diet, most of the DM patients belong to good category (97 respondents, or 48.7%). The results of the bivariate analysis with p value 0.009 (<0.05). Conclusion: There is a correlation between knowledge and compliance to perform a diet among Diabetes mellitus patients in Caturtunggal village, Depok, Sleman, Yogyakarta.
