Slandered Procedure
Project will only be available in unifier once it is baseline for
initiation. Before base line the Project for initiation the below
listed activity must be done in P6.
On EPS Page

Login into P6 using http://eppm.mtn.com/p6 url.

Select the Desired Project & add the Budget Exchange Rate.

Project Name must be Unique & with in 30 character.

Project name mast not contains any special character.

Project Status must be active.

Location must be assigned.

Enter Must Finish by Date.

Planed start date should be same as data date.

Responsible manager ( Project Manager) & Project owner (Program

Manager) must be assigned

 On Activity Page

Start the Finalize business case

Start Capital release

Assign Project Manger on Allocate Resource Activity with Planed unit as

Zero (0).

Add one expense line(Uncommitted Budget) on activity called Provide

for Project Contingency

Enter the Budget amount in the Price/unit column & keep Planed unit
as 1.

Schedule, Summarize & baseline the Project for Initiation. ( Project will
be synced with Unifier)

Baseline the Project

Before Baseline any Project it must be scheduled & summarized.

Action Run Schedule

Action Run Summarize

To check the summarization Status- Action- View Service- Status

To Baseline Project follow the below steps

Define baseline

Add baseline

Baseline Type

Select baseline for Initiation-

Project Baseline- Select B1-

User Baseline- Select B1-

Check Publish Button-

Save.

Issues with defined solution

1. If Project is not available even after baseline for Initiation in
Unifier.

2. USD Planed Budget not getting populated in Unifier.

1. Check on the EPS page Budget Exchange Rate must be entered.

2. Contingency must be updated on the activity page.
3. Schedule, Summarize & baseline.

3. Issue related to permission Template.

Solution:
This error comes: Either user is not assigned in the Project or User do not
have the Suitable Permission.

To Assign User in the Project.

Expand User Administration
Select User Icon in the left navigation tab.
Click New
Select the user from the list ( Find Functionality can be used to
search the desired User).
Click Add Ok.

Select User from the list.

Click open.
Select Suitable group from the list.
Click Add- Ok.
Goto Permission Tab.
Select copy Permission
Select suitable permission Template.
Ok.

4. Document not getting Uploaded.

 Solution:

Click on the user name.

Select Preferences from pull down menu.
On option tab select Basic from the pull down menu.
Save the Changes.
