INTRODUCTION:
National institute of fashion technology was set up in 1986 under the support of
the
ministry of textiles, government of India. It has emerged as the premier institu
te of design,
management and technology, developing professionals for taking up leadership pos
itions in
fashion business in the emerging global scenario.
The Institute is a pioneer in envisioning and evolving fashion business educatio
n in the
country through network of seven professionally managed centres at New Delhi, Ba
ngalore,
Chennai, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai.
NIFT has set academic standards and excelled in thought leadership by providing
a pool of
creative genius and technically competent professionals. The institute provides

platform for fashion education, research and training.

OBJECTIVES:
The objectives of an institute of fashion technology is to impart education in a
pparel
design for readymade garment industry, undertake research in this field with our
culture, heritage and trained personnel in this field of garment, manufacturing
and
marketing.
To develop technically competent human resources of Indian garment industry thro
ugh
professional courses and programs and to assist the students in various fields.
To encourage fast growing garment industry, it is hoped in future that this inst
itute will
become an international fashion centre and more importantly a noodle agency
promoting regional institutes all over India to boost talents and resources, enc
ourage
development of local design talent which enrich the national garment design and
manufacturing.

2. Comparative analysis and basic justification of building program.
3. Drive conclusion from the case study, which would help in forming area progra

the proposed project.
STAGE 3- Concept Design Development
1. From the literature study, site study and case study.
2. To develop an integrated design solution to fit the requirement.
STAGE 4 - FINAL DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
1. Refinement of conceptual design.
