Cons
VI.
Applications with high graphics abilities can't be used (due to network and
graphical lag).
In order to start the server you have to log into your account, meaning if youre on
vacation and your computer locks up, youll have to have someone else reboot the
computer and log in with your password. But this problem can be fixed by
modifying a DLL file and adding a registry value. And up to 2 more computers
can be connected remotely at the same time.
SOLUTION/RECOMMENDATION
After, doing our experiment I can recommend that before connecting in remote
desktop connection know first the pros and cons of using it to know if your sure to do it.
Because during our experiment when somebody connect to us and use remote desktop
connection to manipulate our computer we cannot use the computer until the one who
manipulate it didnt disconnect it. Remember also that the user experience of using
Remote Desktop Connection from off-campus will depend on the speed of your Internet
Service Provider
