Nekomimi Survivor ()

Gameplay, translation and basic tutorial about the interface.

Here is the basic of the NekoSaba game translation and interface. Ok so after you installed and launched the game, the
application will download some game data including new options, new battles, etc. Also, when you first launch the
applications it will automatically make you a Nyanko account that will give you an unique username and ID.

So this is the main interface that you have for the game. To start, press the pink button under the logo with the text
which is Hajimeru and means Start. Now in the left down corner you have the button will bring up a menu
to log in with you existent ID and password, if you ever played the game, or if you move it from tablet to phone, etc. Just
type in your old ID, password (that were later going to learn how to set up and there you go, back into your old account.
After the account was created just check, screenshot and write down your ID for sharing or recovering. This is the screen
after the account was created.

And as you can see, in the left up corner you see it there. Now press the start button and lets get to the main interface.

First of all lets see what we have here. I was too lazy to mark the zones on the image so just take a good look at the
image, memorize it and lets get to work. In the upper part you have your stats, how many silver bells you have how
many fish, how many cat food cans, some NekoSaba ads and a parrot with the camera. Now if you click on the parrot

with the camera, you can easily take a screenshot and then share it to Facebook, Twitter and all that stuff. Easy, no?
Good. Moving on to the right left side, you have an album that shows you your progress with gathering the nyankos, a
gift box that stores your gifts and earnings after a battle. Moving on the bottom side you have the game menus that
were going to translate and discuss and on the left and right of the bottom side you have 2 doors with arrows that
change the room where you store the active battle nyankos. In the center of the image you have your active nyankos
(depends of the room you are in).
Explaining the nyanko room concept:

You can add up to 4 nyankos in one room

If the HP of the nyanko is full you just see them happy, if the nyanko HP is not full, youll see the HP bar and the
nyanko sleeping, and if the HP is 0 then youll see the nyanko dead and the time left until regeneration.
If the nyanko HP is almost empty, just pet the nyanko to gain some extra HP (usually +5 HP and sometimes +50
HP).

You start with 2 rooms and you can buy some more nyanko rooms with golden bells which are really hard to get.
Usually the first nyanko in the first room is your main nyanko that other friends can actually see and ask her to
help them in a battle

Now moving on to the game menu:

First option (RED) () Battle menu, from there you can go to the map and select which battle youre
willing to take
Second option (YELLOW) () The nyanko menu, where you can see and manage your nyankos
Third option (GREEN) () Your achievements and achievement collection
Fourth option (SKY BLUE) () Fish store. Fish is another important thing to have in this game since it lets
you summon nyankos with your camera, revive in battle, etc.
Fifth option (DARK BLUE) () Camera option. Click here, scan your cat and maybe get something super
rare!

Sixth option (PINK PURPLE) (-) Options menu. Find lots and lots and lots of options here, well discuss it
later.

Good, now lets start clicking stuff. Remember the parrot with the camera. Heres what you get when you click it.

You get an instant screenshot of the screen youre in and now you can share it with everyone and be proud of your
catgirls (!).
Good, moving on to the album. Here you can see what nyankos you did unlock and what nyankos you didnt. The
interface looks like this.

For example youll see that many nyankos are missing, and while playing the game you didnt really get any new ones
from the usual ones (N class or R class N Normal Class, R Rare Class, SR Super Rare Class). It took me a while to
actually read the message and it says the following: . ! Okay, well that means that
you get to unlock that nyanco only when you evolve those nyankos. Well talk about evolution later.

Okay, now back on the main screen (to return press the home icon in the upper right) and we click the first icon in the
menu, the red one, and we get the battle map (for you there will appear in time).

Click on whichever event you want to battle. In this game you can battle one event several times to get some bonuses
that are mentioned on this screen.

Here you have the level name, level description, battle name battle description, how many times you cleared the battle
and the prize that youll get when reaching the number of battles. Okay, now select one battle and youll move on to the
next screen.

Here you get to choose the 5th nyanko (remember that your room contained maximum 4 nyankos), and that nyanko is
not yours, its the nyanko of a random player that appear on the list (in the beginning) or the nyankos of the people you
friended. The nyankos may have greater level than your nyanko team, so when you choose it, the level will be
downgraded to the average of your nyankos selected. You can see an example here.

Okay, we have everything selected and were ready to battle. But the battle system will be discussed in the next tutorial
so bear with me. Click the red button and handle the situation yourself, its not hard at first, but afterwards youll need
to learn some skills that I will explain later.
Moving on, we return on the home screen and then we click the 2nd yellow option and get 3 more options that I will
explain now: 1st Nyan List (display all your nyankos), 2nd Party List (arrange your
nyankos into rooms), 3rd Nekonabe (you can combine and transfer cats attributes. For example you evolved
your nyanko and by using a camera you get the same nyanko with better attributes, you go here and combine the 2 cats.
The evolved one will get the attributes from the unevolved one, and you just have a better nyanko).
By clicking the first option you get to see all your nyankos and what room theyre in. The nyanos without a room can be
sold for silver or gold bells that will help you do other things in the game. By clicking the second tab you can now select
and sell your, doubled or unused nyankos.
By clicking the second option, you can now arrange the cats in different rooms that you have. There is a logic when
building a nyanko team, but Ill explain that later. The first nyanko in the room is the nyanko that you share with the
other players (remember the battle menu, as you get a nyanko from a random/friend player, they get the a nyanko from
you too).
By clicking the third option, you get a new interface with 2 empty spots, in the first you add the nyanko that is the
receiver, and in the second the nyanko that is the sender. Both nyankos MUST be the identical for you to use this. The
price for this operation is 20 bells. After payment, the nyankos are put in a pot and shaken, and then you get the result.

Now lets see some screenshots with the options and menus so I can explain what Ive missed earlier.

Good so these are the 3 options.

Here is the first menu with the details and selling option (se upper left tabs, 1st is for view, and 2nd is for selling).
And this is how it looks when youre going to sell a nyanko.

Okay, moving on, we have the cat rooms.

Select the room from the upper left tabs and fill them with nyankos.
And last but not least, the combination interface.

Now, as you may seen every nyanko have its own card.
Good, that is the card that contains each and every
information about a nyanko and I will explain now what
everything means from those cards. In the upper right
corner you have your nyanko type (N, R, SR) and in the
upper right you have the fighting type of the nyanko.
There is a blurred picture of the nyanko, and the room
where shes located. If shes not located anywhere,
there will be a clear picture of the nyanko. Under the
picture you get the level and attribute type. Under, you
get the HP bar and the HP information, attack
strength and rapidity which is the nyankos
special attribute that were going to see later in the
nyankos CV file.

Now to acces the nyankos CV file just click on the blue button and check out the nyankos story.

Here is the nyankos CV file. On the right side you can get the nyankos name (in this case its Sophie) and
the neko type. Going down we get the same information that weve got on the smaller cards before we asked
for more details, but we can get some more details such as skill (in this case: !! Enjoy to
serve, brings 230% more damage to a single enemy 230%) etc.
Now you can see even hear her voice by clicking the voice icon. Moving on to the second page we can find the following
details about the selected nyanko:
PROFILE:
AGE In our case 16
BIRTHDAY In our case 6th month day 1.
Interest Depends on the nyanko type (in this case cuisine).
Loves Depends on the nyanko type (in this case ester).
Hates Depends on the nyanko type (in this case bad food).

~
A little quote from Sophie in the end.

Okay, now moving back to the home screen we go to the 3rd tab which is the green achievements type.

When you play the game, you fulfill various tasks which here are paid of as gifts for you and your nyankos.
Moving back to the main page and going to the shop we can see the fish shop, there you can BUY fish.

But now if you click on the icon on the right bottom corner (the building with cat ears) you can switch to the normal
store to buy things for your nyankos such as evolving solution, revive solution, etc.

If you are outside Japan you cant use the Fish store, since you need to make the payment in yens through Marketplace
Japan. The second store works with the earnings you get after fighting battles or selling your nyankos.

Bonito used for strengthening a nyanko. This package costs 100 silver bells and slowly increases the experience levels
of the nyanko. This is good for evolving your nyanko in the first stage (levels 1-5).

Luxury bonito used for strengthening a nyanko. This package costs 500 silver bells and has a more enhanced
experience level increasing levels. Good for second nyanko stage (levels 5-15).

Ultimate bonito used for strengthening a nyanko. This package costs 4500 silver bells and gives you extreme
experience levels increase. Best anytime, hard to obtain.

Nekokan used for HP recovery. By using this item you can revive your dead nyanko and/or restore her full HP. Costs 1
gold bell.

Nyankoto Room Remember when I told you about the rooms? This is how you get a new room to store 4 more
nyankos. This costs 250 golden bells which are awful hard to obtain.

New experimental item. Didnt test it yet.

Friend list enhance Last but not least you can buy more slots for friends (well get there soon) if you max out your list.
This item costs 1 fish.
And this is what you can get from the store with explaining. Now you can buy batches of products and stuff like that, I
didnt explore each and every option, I just posted out the main products ignoring the batched ones.
Moving on to the next NekoSaba option we reach the camera option in the main menu, the 5th option. From the camera
you can take a photo of your cat and transform it into a nyanko. Well at least that what the developer said, and its not
completely true. The server side of the camera app receives a very low quality of the picture youve just taken and
analyzes the color patters from the image, giving you for example, for a grey cat a blue or grey nyanko. If the picture has
many colors, it just goes for the dominant color. The quality of the nyanko is given by the color pattern of the image (and
I didnt discover a cheat yet). The better the nyanko the more fish costs to accept the nyanko, but you can get an
enhanced R type nyanko or a standard SR type nyanko (5-7 fish cost). Here is the camera interface:

Now we return to the main screen and were going to start exploring the final menu, the 6th one which again has many
options.

The first option from left to right, up to down is to go to the normal store that you can buy things with your earnings and
check your stash.
The second option from left to right, up to down is to EXCHANGE YOUR ACCOUNT NAME. So if you want to change the
account name, there is the place where you do it.
The third option from left to right, up to down is JAPANESE HELP. Tips and tricks in Japanese.
The 4th option form left to right, up to down is the place where you can insert your friend IDs and get fishes. This works
if you enter a friends code and gets blocked until another 10 friends add your code. I have no idea what that is. Sorry.
So we finished with the first column lets move to the 2nd one.
The first option on the 2nd column in your friend list where you can manage your current friends and accept new firend
requests. For example I have 37 friends out of 100 possible friend slots. If I need more slots I just spend 1 fish and get 5
more slots. This is your actual friend list, if you want to accept new friends go to the second tab from the options before
the list. This game is just like a social network for nekomimi lovers.

Now moving on in the menu on the 2nd option on the 2nd column you have the option to make your account permanent
against data lost and stuff like that or if you want to move your account on another phone, tablet, or even platform
(from iOS to Android). How is this working? Well Im not going to translate each and every line of text. You get a 3 box
form. The first one is your ID and the next 2 are empty. Insert YOUR PASSWORD TWICE THERE, write down your ID (yeah
on paper, notepad, whatever) and click ok. Now, whenever you want, install an instance of the game, insert the ID (we
discussed at the beginning where to initialize your account) and your password and get your account back on any device,
on any platform.

The 3rd option from the 2nd column is general setting for sound. Thats it, just sound.

And the last option from the 2nd column is your share options. By sharing the game on social networks you get a fish.
Here you can also use friend codes to get a fish, but after 10 codes I forgot how many codes the option will grey out.

So thats that folks, this is the basic on how to use the NekoSaba game for Android (iOS is the same, I think).
Just to end this right, here you have my latest luck with the camera when getting a SR class nyanko.
